10 Boko Haram Suspects Executed By Firing Squad In Chad Today.

According to security sources, Chad executed 10 members of the Islamist militant group Boko Haram by firing squad today August 29th, just a day after they were sentenced on terrorism charges. "They were shot this morning at the Massaguet firing range,” one of the sources revealed.The men were found guilty of charges including criminal conspiracy, willful destruction with explosives, killings and illegal possessions of arms and ammunition and sentenced to death on Friday 28 August following a three-day trial.read more

Abduction: Police Nab Man Trying To Sell 3-Year-Old Girl In Jalingo

The Taraba State Police Command has arrested a 51-year-old man for allegedly kidnapping a three-year-old girl.Briefing journalists yesterday in Jalingo, the acting commissioner of police in the state, Mr. Bello Ahmad said the suspect, Dalibi Tanko, was arrested by a team of policemen at Mallam Abba ward, Mutun Buyi, while he was trying to sell the girl to one Uba Idris Shagarda of Jantaro village.
