Obama Finally Releases Long Form Birth Certificate

In an effort to silence the “birther” movement — including presidential hopeful Donald Trump — U.S. President Barack Obama today released the long form of his much talked about birth certificate.
Many people (who don’t read) fail to realize that the short form of Obama’s certificate of live birth was released by the White House in 2008 when Obama was elected president. The long fo
Many critics are asking, “why now?”. Why not two years ago when the issue of his citizenship first arose?
Some are suggesting that Obama, a known narcissist, only released the long form now because he fears losing something he values most (his job).
Obama told White House reporters that he had “better stuff to do” than to discuss his birth certificate that has been an emotional boilerplate since before he was elected.

We Love Leggings and Jeggings

Post image for Why We Love Leggings and Jeggings
For a while now, leggings in different colours, materials and prints have been a must-have in every woman’s wardrobe. All of a sudden leggings went from being something you would wear at home, not at all, or maybe under a skirt, to being a regular, primary, piece of clothing.

How To Wear Them

Kim Kardashian wearing leggings the wrong way
Personally, I feel that leggings can at times give a sense of an unfinished look. Maybe even provocative.
They accentuate every little shape of your body and are so tight that your curves become very visible – and I mean VERY. Look at this picture of Kim Kardashian sporting a pair of leggings the not so right way!
What I do when I wear leggings, is, I pick a longer shirt that covers my behind slightly. And this goes for every body size out there.
It doesn’t matter if you’re size 0 or 12, you don’t need to show it all. Leggings are stretchy. And stretchy means almost see-through in some cases. The look won’t be sexy, classy or nice. Over-sized or just longer shirts, t-shirts and blouses will give the leggings a more refined look.
Here are some different ways to wear different leggings and  look modern, classy and cool at the same time.

These models look sophisticated, but far from boring and safe. They display a personal style and outfits that can be worn on many different occasions.

Jeggings are the new jeans

Something that I love the same or even more than leggings and jeans are the so called jeggings! They are comfortable, they make your body look slimmer, they fit well as they shape themselves to fit your body, they come in many different colours, with or without pockets. They look like jeans, but to me, they are more comfortable because of the elastane in the material. Unlike regular cotton leggings jeggings do not show every bit of your behind as clearly.
Here are some cool jegging-outfits:

Choosing Your Perfect Shade of Red Lipstick.

2011 was full of fabulous fashions but red lipstick was the most prominent of makeup trends. From Gucci to Diane Von Furstenburg , Vivianne Westwood to Milly reds ruled the runway.
Daring, classic, romantic yet bold there is a perfect red lipstick on the market that suits all skin tones. Resisting reds? I will guide you through the makeup counter maze to help you find the perfect red.
When shopping for the right red, ask yourself 2 important questions. What is your preferred lipstick texture; Matte, glossy or creamy. What color pay-off do you desire; Bright and bold, soft stain or an opaque wash of color?
If you’re a fair skin sista opt for a true red with a cherry pink to red undertone. Olive skin, try a blue based red that will stand out against your radiant complexion. Medium brown skin tones should try a lipstick with an orange value to it’s undertone, this shade will pop against beautiful brown skin. Deep chocolate skin tones should try a red with a deep pink saturation to its base tone.

Celebs ...Out & About Miss Ireland And Her Nigerian Boyfriend In Love And They Are Coping With Racial Discrimination.

Emma and Oshafi have being going out for the past one year now,an each day that passes by,Emma seems to fall deeply inlove with her Naijaman Oshafi.
In her recent interviews, she spoke about criticisms from people around.
Emma, 21, has been the victim of a vicious internet campaign because of her relationship with a black She recently found herself at the center of a row after one person branded her 'disgusting' for dating a black man.
Emma, who came fourth in the Miss World competition before Christmas, said that while she has encountered racism while out with Manners, 23, she refuses to let it get between them.

'I have experienced negative comments on nights out and on social networking sites but it doesn't bother me.she said.
'I will never let someone's ignorance affect my love for Manners. He is the most amazing person I have ever met.

'What color my skin is doesn't matter to him and what color his skin is doesn't matter to me.

'What matters in friendship and love is the heart and soul of the person you are in a relationship with and his heart is so big and I'm lucky to be in it,' she said.

The Kildare beauty said while everyone is entitled to their opinion, she feels that now that Ireland is a multi-cultural society, people should be educated.

'I think that Ireland is so rich in many cultures and often times preconceived notions influence how people treat others who are of different colors, creed or sexuality.
'Emma is terrific,' said Manners. 'We are different in some ways but in other ways we are like soul mates.

'We think the same way and sometimes will finish each other's sentences. But Emma is going back to college so we have no plans to move in just yet.'
The computer whizz also revealed that he has no problems with Emma's work as a model.
'Why would I? She always looks great in pictures. She is gorgeous. I'm a lucky man,' he laughed.

Film on election violence at African New York festival

A Kenyan woman director’s short fictional film focusing on the post-election violence was chosen for showing at the New York African Film Festival earlier this month.

.
Taharuki (Suspense) attracted attention due to its searing subject matter.

Director Ekwa Msangi-Omari, the maker of popular Kenyan television shows such as “The Agency” and “Block-D,” tells a story of a man and woman from different tribes who are working together in an underground movement to halt child trafficking.
Their efforts are disrupted, however, by the election-related ethnic violence that has put them in fear of their lives.
The role of the male activist is played by Gilbert Owuor, who has appeared on theatrical stages in Manhattan, while the part of his colleague is acted by Miriam Chemmoss, a New York-based film performer as well as singer best known for her hit Rudi. Chris Kamau, a TV actor in Los Angeles, plays an intruder who commits a graphic act of violence.
Ms Msangi-Omari she hoped to raise $300,000 needed to turn Taharuki into a full-length feature. In its current 12-minute form, it cost about $7,000 to make.
The longer version “could definitely be shot in Kenya,” Ms Msangi-Omari said. Censorship of her script would probably not occur, despite the film’s controversial subject matter, she said. “But getting it screened around the country would be another story.”

Film school
Ms Msangi-Omari, 31, studied at New York University’s prestigious film school. It was there, she said, that her interest in African cinema was ignited. “We don’t get to see African cinema in Africa,” she said.
Her fascination with movies developed when she was a girl in Kenya seeing films by the African-American director Spike Lee.
“He was the only black filmmaker I had ever heard of,” Ms Msangi-Omari said. “I was really impressed to see movies about black people and made by a black person. I didn’t know that was happening.”
Taharuki does not convey any explicit political message, and it only obliquely addresses the mayhem that erupted in early 2008.

Ms Msangi-Omari said there was no violence in the section of Nairobi near her home, but that the effects can still be felt. “A taxi driver who used to work on a particular corner can no longer work on that corner,” she noted.

In the interview conducted at New York’s famed Lincoln Centre performance venue, Ms Msangi-Omari said the problems underlying the violence remain largely unresolved. But she expressed hope for Kenya’s future: “My own peers seem more active, more willing to voice their concerns, so I think my generation, when it does come to power, will probably not repeat the past.

Airforce chopper carrying election materials crashes in Bayelsa ( Nigeria).

A Nigerian Air Force helicopter carrying election materials for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for tomorrow's gubernatorial and State of Assembly election in Bayelsa State has reportedly crashed.

The chopper travelling from Port Harcourt crashed enroute Yenegoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

The helicopter, MI-135 which took off from the Nigerian Air Force base in Port Harcourt loaded with the election materials and officials of INEC, took off a few minutes after noon local time for Yenagoa and crashed near Igbogene landing pad at about 1 p.m.

Reports say one of the engines developed a mechanical problem forcing the pilot into emergency landing.  However, no life was lost in the incident as the pilot and the crew member as well as the INEC officials narrowly escaped unhurt while all the materials meant for the elections were all intact as the helicopter was said to have been promptly stabilized by the pilots.
The Director, Public Relations of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Anas confirmed the incident in a statement he issued in Abuja.
According to him, an assessment team sent by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mohammed Umar has visited the scene of the incident while another Mi-35 Helicopter was used to airlift the INEC officials and materials to other parts of Bayelsa State.

The Nigerian Air Force  has been actively involved in the logistical distribution of INEC materials all over the country since the commencement of the April polls.
