60 Year Old Singer Passes Abuja Auditions Of Nigeria's Got Talent.Lagos Auditions Comes Up On August 18th And 19th.

It was exhilaration and awe as the capital city played host to Nigeria’s Got Talent Season 1 auditions. The 1st of August will be a day to be remembered for a long time in Abuja as thousands of people made their way to the Rock View Hotel to via for a spot on the semi-finals on Nigeria’s Got talent for a chance to win the 10 million naira grand prize and a world stage to showcase their unique talents.
The talent showcase was as diverse as razor blade eating magicians to fire eaters to incrediblyflexible acrobats. Producer of the show Debbie Schulman couldn’t hide her excitement as she bemused about the Nigerian Army band veteran who came to thrill the judges with some good old jams.
The train moves to the coal City, Enugu at the Universal hotel, Independence layout, then to Calabar on August 7, Port Harcourt on 9th, Warri 11th, Benin 13th, Ibadan 16th with auditionsending in the Centre of Excellence, Lagos on August 18th and 19^th.

Talia And Keagan's Escapades Ends With Sex.

After Kissing in the Jacuzzi the new upville couple decided to shower together. Prezzo and Kyle who were playing card were shocked to see Talia and Keaganwashing down in the same bathroom.

The previous night, after Keagan, Talia, Wati and Prezzo’s clashed, Talia went to shower and Keagan followed her in the shower room, he opened the door and  talked to his new found love.

Kyle was again shocked by Keagan’s move, he asked him why he deliberately opened the shower door knowing that Talia was naked.

Keagan just laughed it off. However when the two took the bath together today, Kyle finally confirmed that Talia had dropped Seydou for Keagan, he said that this is one of the relationship i least expected.

A taxi driver, Femi Ajibola, will never forget July 1, 2012 in a hurry. At about 5.30 pm on that day, he received a phone call from a young woman in the Lekki area of Lagos and had quickly answered the subsequent invitation to pick her up.
“The lady introduced her as Susie. She called me to come and pick her and her friend. They told me to come pick them up at Mobolaji Estate near Lekki Second Roundabout. Later, I took them to a hotel at Lekki Phase I to meet one of their friends.
“From there we left for Beni Apartment in Victoria Island. They said that I should wait for them and promised to be back soon. Bizarre :Woman Delivers A monkey In Benue State.

News reaching us is that a woman, wife of a hunter from Oju Local Government Area has just been recently reported to have delivered  a monkey-like creature in Otukpo, a popular town in Benue State. It was said to have taken place recently at St Theresa Hospital, Otukpo.

The strange delivery, occurred on the delivery of her 10th child and has left the woman in a state of complete shock as she has previously delivered 9 children successfully in the past. According to an eyewitness, when the news broke out, residents of the town, especially those at the nearby Otukpo main market rushed to the hospital to see for themselves.

Even though the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Stanley Bwala has described the strange development as “congenital malformation”, and insisted that the situation could have been avoided  if she had been attending Antenatal Clinics, We beg to disagree. This is no longer the evolution age where man (according to scientists) is still transiting from the early man “australopithecus-africanus” to “Homo-Sapiens”,  and  if that were the case, the evolution theory propounded didn’t occur in a woman’s womb for 9 months! Thus in our  view,  this situation can only be described as strange.

In a brief chat with elder Adah Okoh, a traditional ruler in the area, he noted that in the Idoma tradition, such child should not be allowed to stay with the mother for fear of reincarnation. Asked if the monster should be buried alive or killed, elder Okoh said that should be left for the family to decide.

P-square's Mum Laid To Rest.

The late mother of P-square who has been a pillar of support in their music career, was  laid to rest in their hometown.The Okoye brothers gave their mother a very befitting burial,we heard the casket  as well as interment  are reported to  cost  hefty amount on preparations and items including transporting her remains back to Nigeria from India, building a mausoleum, ordering for a very expensive casket; engaging the services of burial team and event managers as well as catering for invited guests and colleagues cost about N50miilin.

The burial took place  at Ifite-Dunu, Akwa Village, Anambra State on Thursday. Shortly before the burial, there was a lying-in-state in Umunachi, Umudioka Village, Anambra State, and a church service at St.Gabriel Catholic Church, before the proper burial which took place at Ifite-Dunu, which was also the reception venue.

Mrs Josephine Okoye battled with diabetes before she finally died in an Indian Hospital.

May her gentle soul rest with the lord amen.

SYRIAN CRISIS:Kofi Annan Resigns As UN And Arab League Envoy.

Kofi Annan says he is quitting his role as the U.N. and Arab League envoy to Syria, as violence from the country's 17-month-long uprising continues to spiral out of control.

Mr. Annan said Thursday that the increasing militarization on the ground and a lack of unity in the U.N. Security Council had changed the circumstances for him to effectively carry out his role.In a news conference from Geneva, Mr. Annan said he would not renew his mission, which expires on August 31.U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed “deep regret” over Mr. Annan's departure. Mr. Ban blamed the Syrian government and the opposition for the continued unrest.Both sides have failed to abide by a cease-fire which was part of a six-point peace plan brokered by Mr. Annan earlier this year. The truce began unraveling shortly after it took effect in April.White House spokesman Jay Carney said China and Russia's stance in the U.N. has played a role in Mr. Annan's departure. Both countries have vetoed three U.N. Security Council resolutions on Syria that included action against the Syrian government.Earlier Thursday, Russia said it would not support a draft resolution on Syria in the U.N. General Assembly. It said the non-binding measure that called for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's departure was unbalanced.

The measure's Arab sponsors in the General Assembly later dropped language calling for Mr. Assad's resignation.Carney also said there was no change in the U.S. position of providing non-lethal aid to Syria's opposition. He said adding to the number of weapons in the country would not help bring about a peaceful transition.

He commented on Thursday in response to Western media reports that President Barack Obama signed an order earlier this year allowing the Central Intelligence Agency and other U.S. agencies to provide support to the rebels.In Syria, rebels have used a captured tank to shell a military base in the northern city of Aleppo, on Thursday, as government forces pound rebel strongholds in the city with tank and artillery fireThe opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says at least 60 people were killed in opposition-related violence across the country on Thursday.

Bomb Blast Scare In Abuja.

Reports reaching police in the Nyanya area of Abuja, that there was a bomb blast at Dunamis Church have been confirmed to be a rumour.“There was no blast at Nyanya. I’ve just spoken with the Nyanya DPO and I’m trying to get in touch with the DPO of Mararaba,”The Deputy Force Public Relations, Mr. Frank Mba said.

“NEMA has denied speculations about a bomb explosion in Nyanya, Abuja. Members of the public are advised to ignore such rumours.” the spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, confirmed.

The Head of the Technical unit of the Church, Mr Godstime Asuquo said that he had called the  FCT Anti Bomb squad over the false alarm.

SSS Reveals The Assassins Of Edo State Gov's Secretary.

The State Security Service (SSS)  has revealed the gunmen behind  the murder of  principal private secretary to the Edo State governor, Mr Olaitan Oyerinde. The Mr Oyerinde Olaitan was shot at his residence in Benin city   on the 4th of May, 2012.
Parading the suspects in Abuja, spokesperson of the secret service, Marilyn Ogar said the late Oyerinde was murdered by Mohammed Abdullahi, Raymond Origbo and Chikezie Edeh.
She further revealed that items stolen from his residence on the night of his murder were bought by Saidu Yakubu, Sani Abdullahi and Hassan Bashiru.
Answering questions from journalists, a member of the gang, Chikezie Edeh disclosed that the late Oyerinde was actually shot by the leader of the gang, Mohammed Abdullahi who claimed that he thought the deceased was going to attack him.
