Stop using my name as your vehicles plate number AYB



Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has advised his supporters to stop using his abbreviated name as number plates of their vehicles.

A statement by Alhaji Abdulkarim Abdulmalik, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the governor, said since the election campaigns are over, the use of campaign posters and other related printed matters on vehicles are no longer allowed.

The governor according to him, “appreciates your support and commitment but however believes that the people and government should be concerned with governance as to bring the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.”

The statement further stated that using AYB as vehicle number plate is here by disallowed and any person or groups that disregard this warning will have themselves to blame as the security agencies have been alerted for necessary action.
