Patience Paul: Tambuwal Orders Investigation Into Alleged Abduction Of 15-Year-Old Benue Girl.




Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has reacted to the alleged abduction of a 15-year-old girl, Patience Paul, in the State.The governor said it had ordered immediate investigation into the alleged abduction and forced marriage of the Benue teenager.
A statement by Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s spokesman, Imam Imam, and obtained by DAILY POST, said the governor had ordered the state human rights commission and other agencies to take up the matter without delay.

DSS Arrests Umeh Over Alleged Support For Biafra.




FORMER National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and its candidate in the Anambra Central senatorial election, Chief Victor Umeh, has allegedly been arrested by men of the Department of State Services, DSS, over perceived support for the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. It was gathered that Umeh was invited to the headquarters of DSS at Amawbia at about 9 .00 am and after about two hours, was taken out of the office in a pick-up van en-route Abuja.

Top Imo State Govt Officials Arrested By EFCC For Diverting N2Billion Bailout Money.




Three top officials of the Imo state government were arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday for allegedly diverting the sum of N2bn bailout meant for the payment of salary arrears of the state’s civil servants.
A statement issued on Thursday by the anti-graft agency gave the names and position of the suspects as: Obi Paschal Chigozie, Principal Secretary to the Governor of Imo state, Uzoho Casmir, Director of Finance and Iheoma Kenneth, Treasurer.

Nigerian Army Discovers Boko Haram Bomb Factory.[Pictures].




The Nigerian army has discovered another bomb-making factory in Kumshe, Borno state. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter The army’s spokesperson Sani Usman announced this in a statement made available to Naij.com. He said that troops of 7 Division Strike Group Team B on clearance operations of the remnants of Boko Haram insurgents at Kumshe made startling discoveries of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making factory, rockets and high claibre ammunitions.










In November last year, the deadly Boko Haram sect has released photos apparently showing a rocket-making factory in north-eastern Nigeria. The sect has used rocket-propelled grenades in the past and many Nigerians have been asking where the arms have been coming from. President Muhammadu Buhari has announced in December 2015 that all the territories have been resized from the insurgents while the sect has been technically defeated.


However, Ahmad Salkida, the journalist who has access to the Boko Haram top leaders, denied the military’s huge success in the war against insurgency.

Omg! Drunk Police Officers Crash Official Van in Lagos After Speeding on BRT Lane (Photo)







Lagos policemen who were allegedly drunk and were speeding on the highway, have crashed their official van in the process. 
The policemen attached to the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad were involved in a terrible accident on Wednesday March 3, after crashing their official van on the BRT lane, in Lagos.

The men, who were reportedly drunk, were speeding on the lane reserved for BRT buses when their van crashed and tumbled three times around the Area C Police station in Ojuelegba , Lagos.

Fortunately, there were no other motorists involved in the accident and reports say only two of the policemen were injured and rushed to the hospital.

The family of a woman from Washington DC arrived at her funeral last week to pay their final respects, only to discover the body of a stranger resting in her casket.

Indian Army Makes Students Strip To Write Exam To Prevent Cheating.





More than a thousand students who appeared for clerical jobs in the Indian Army were made to strip to their underwear and take the exam in an open field in a bid to “prevent cheating”.
Reports said army officials entrusted with conducting the examinations took the extreme step to “save time” that would be wasted on frisking more than a thousand examinees who had come with the hope to join army jobs.
