Ireti Doyle’s Marriage To Husband Patrick Has Allegedly Crashed! (Details)

Reports making the rounds online is that  “wedding party” actress, Iretiola Doyle and Patrick Doyle marriage has allegedly hit the rocks. In fact, it is alleged that the couple are no longer living together.
It was gathered that Iretiola who have four children with her husband, moved into her own apartment at Anthony Village in Lagos, away from Patrick and their children.

This is coming after the actress set records straight, when asked why she no longer steps out for events with the actor.

“We are both busy people and you find that, in any one given weekend, we’ve both been invited to three or four different events where all three or four people are expecting to see us so we play it smart, we share it; if you’ve seen one you’ve seen the other,” she said.

According to Playgroundng sources, it is unclear why their marriage hit the rocks but the duo peacefully separated and remain friends.

Iretiola and Patrick Doyle got married shortly after the actor lost his first wife to sickle cell anaemia in 1999. A decade later, he lost his son Raymond with first wife to same illness.

While the reason for their break-up is still unclear, Playgroundtv’s source said Patrick and Ireti ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and chose to remain friends.

It is not yet known if the one time Nollywood’s top celebrity couple would file for divorce.

Eid-el-Fitr: Saraki urges Nigerians to pray for Buhari’s quick recovery

Bukola Saraki

SENATE President Bukola Saraki has urged all Nigerians and Muslims across the country to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, peace, patriotism and love for one another as a way of building a strong and united nation, just as he reiterated his call on Nigerians to continue to pray for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Saraki who congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of a month-long Ramadan fast, said that only tolerance, stronger sense of patriotism and love for one another will help the country sail through the present multiple agitations confronting her.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, the Senate President who called on Nigerians to put love of the country over and above individual and sectional interests, said, “We should put into practice the lessons of tolerance, perseverance, and love for our neighbours that we learnt during the Ramadan period to overcome the multiple agitations threatening the corporate existence of our country,” Saraki said. “We should realize that our strength as a nation revolves around our diverse nature, and we must do all we can to ensure that we manage these diversity to build a strong, economically viable, politically stable and prosperous nation”.

While reiterating the Senate’s resolve and determination to keep the nation united, Saraki who noted that the task is a collective responsibility, just as he charged Nigerians to embrace peace and dialogue in resolving contentious issues, adding, “We should learn to always follow the path of dialogue in resolving our differences rather than advocating for violence and other extra-constitutional means to settling our grievances.”

The Senate President who said that the economic situation of the country was a major contributor to the growing agitations and tension, however reassured Nigerians that the government was fully aware of the difficulties faced on daily basis by the people and is working seriously to get the nation out of the current recession very soon.

He said, “Both at the executive and legislative levels, we are putting together policies and laws aimed at returning the country to prosperity and the indices coming out from the experts show that the measures we are taking are yielding good results. We can only plead with the people to continue to show understanding and know that we will not take their patience for granted.

“I will like to also use this occasion of the Eid-el-Fitri, as I did in my message at the commencement of Ramadan fast, to urge all of us to continue to pray for the quick recovery of our dear President, President Muhammadu Buhari. My thoughts and prayers are always with him for his quick recovery and safe return to continue with the enormous task of nation building.”

Court Upholds Dissolution of 15 year-old Marriage

Court

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has upheld the dissolution a 15 year-old marriage between a businessman, Kingsley Onyenobi and his wife Chioma.

An Agege Grade A Customary Court, presided over by Mr. Phillip Williams, had in 2016 dissolved the marriage between the couple on grounds of irreconcilable differences.

In his judgment at the lower court, William held that the allegation of infidelity brought against Chioma by her husband Kingsley was enough ground to dissolve the marriage.

The Court President also held that two marriage certificates tendered by the respondent to prove that her marriage was contracted under the Marriage Act were discovered to be fake.

The court, however, asked both parties to maintain status quo on the custody of the children since it had no jurisdiction to make any pronouncement in that regards.

Not satisfied with the decision of the customary court, Chioma approached the Lagos High Court for an order to reverse the judgment.

In a motion filed before the High Court, Chioma contended that Agege Customary Court lacked the power to dissolve her marriage, which she insisted was contracted under the marriage act.

She also asked the court to reverse the order made by the customary court with regards to her children’s custody.

Onyenobi, however, countered his wife’s averments, insisting that their marriage was contracted under traditional laws and that the Agege Customary Court had the power to dissolve their marriage.

In his judgment, Justice Kazeem Alogba upheld the earlier decision of the customary court, which dissolved the marriage between the couple.

Alogba stated that although the appellant had claimed that her marriage was contracted under the marriage act, there was no evidence before him to prove the claims.

The judge noted that the mere fact that a marriage was conducted in a church and marriage certificate issued does not prove that such marriage was conducted under the Marriage Act.

Justice Alogba further held that the Agege Customary Court acted within the law by assuming jurisdiction and delivering its judgment.

The judge, however, held that the lower court overreached its powers by making a pronouncement with regards to children’s custody.

Alogba maintained that since the lower court rightfully observed that it had no powers to adjudicate on custody of children in a marriage, it ought not to have made any pronouncement in that regards.

The judge consequently over-ruled the status quo pronouncement of the lower court and directed that the custody issue be referred to the family court.

London based journalist, Lekan Fatodu, has claimed in an audio telephone conversation he released recently that SaharaReporters founder, Sowore Omoyele allegedly tried to blackmail him.

This is coming as the feud between the two former friends gets messier.

The released audio by Fatodu, had recorded conversation of two male adults, discussing matter concerning Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Fatodu claimed that the voices in the audio telephone conversation was between him and Omoyele and that it served as evidence that the Sahara Reporters Publisher allegedly tried to blackmail him because he did not cave in to his alleged demand of N100 million to bury reports he had against him.

However, the unverified conversations from the audio, revealed plans of the two voices discussion on how they wanted to deal with a case at the EFCC.

Recently, Fatodu led a protest against Omoyele in Ikeja, Lagos against what he termed fake news being allegedly propagated by Omoyele.

But Omoyele waved off the protest, saying it was being sponsored by powerful politicians who hate SaharaReporters for exposing their evil act.

Why I Played Strong Sex Scenes in My Latest Film – Actress Omotola Jalade

Top Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has returned to Nollywood. After a three-year hiatus, the 39-year-old is lined up to debut “Alter Ego” alongside Wole Ojo and Jide Kosoko.
Speaking with PREMIUM TIMES, Omotola opens up about her career, marriage and playing a controversial character in Alter Ego.

PT: You went off the scene for three years. Was this deliberate?
Omotola: Yes it was. I knew I was going to embark on a break so I starred in a few movies, which have not been released. I shot Blood on the Lagoon with Teco Benson, and another one in London called Amina, which are yet to be released. I got to that point when I felt like nothing was challenging me anymore and I began to feel like my standard was dropping. I went through that period and I knew I needed to stay away and wait for Nollywood to catch up with some of our ideas.
PT: Do you think starring in Chineze Anyaene’s 2010 movie, Ije, in the United States, sort of placed you on a pedestal?
Omotola: Well, I knew cinema movies were the next step for me. After starring in Ije I knew that the industry was not moving fast enough and I knew the only way out for me was to make that sacrifice and just dropout. So I starred in movies that I thought could hold forth for me while I concentrate on other things like building my business. Coming back was hard for me because I was aiming for that movie that would challenge. I was looking for something as strong as or better than Mortal Inheritance. I knew I had to reset my mindset, I was looking for something that would excite me the same way Mortal Inheritance did. I got a lot of scripts and none of them filled that gap. I could have taken up some of them for the sake of money. But I have gone past that point.
Omotola in a scene of Alter Ego
PT: Your fans can’t stop talking about your sex scenes in Alter Ego. Was your husband comfortable with you playing the role?
Omotola: Some of the sex scenes in Alter Ego were downplayed because I’m married. But I won’t play the sex scenes if it wasn’t necessary to be included in the film. I know by starring in this movie that my fans would either hate me or love me forever. While shooting the film, I knew I was doing something quite risky. There are several ways to shoot a sex scene tastefully. I’m all for playing a sex scene convincingly and my husband knows this. I tell my husband, “You know what darling, you married an actor”; and secondly, he is my biggest fan. I tell him, “Do you want me to be great or do you just want me to be good?” He will say, “I want you to be great, sparklingly great”. Then I’ll say, “Ehen, we go love o” and he’s fine with it. He understands but just like every other human being and the professional that he is, he too wants to be convinced that I played a sex scene because it was necessary. I know when he watches movies sometimes he would say, “Did they have to kiss if they were not going to kiss well?”
PT: You got pretty raunchy with your co-stars in your latest movie, Alter Ego. Are you ready for viewer’s criticisms?
Omotola: When I wasn’t even confident, I starred in a movie called a prostitute, which was released 22 years ago. If I didn’t die then, is it now? I’m ready.
PT: Playing a believable sex scene would mean going extra lengths. Do you think Nigerians will embrace such films?
Omotola: You don’t even have to “chop” somebody’s mouth if you don’t want to. If the scene is not about you showing real mad crazy love then you can’t now be showing mouth to mouth kissing or removing of clothes. In Nigerian movies, we have downplayed chemistry. I hope we can bring that back. Back in the day when I shot Mortal Inheritance in 1995, I had to spend time with my co-star, Fred Amata. He was already a renowned director and in those days, directors were revered. So imagine, my director who had directed me in a movie prior now acting as my lover. I was really afraid but we broke the ice by spending time with each other. So, he demystified himself and we had chemistry and you could tell. So, I’m hoping all of this returns to Nigerian movies. So, as professionals, we need to ask ourselves if it is necessary for a movie to have a sex scene and when it is, it should be done well.

PT: With regards to Alter Ego, how were you able to build some on-screen chemistry with your co-star, Wole Ojo?
Omotola: I was working with Wole Ojo for the first time, so we had to spend time together and we played very rough. I understand the power of being friends with your love interest in a movie so we became like a couple. We ate together and basically just broke down the walls to make sure we were both comfortable with each other and have each other’s backs and interest at heart. So, it spilled into the movie without you even noticing.
PT: Alter Ego appears to be the first Nollywood movie to truly address Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Do you think it would appeal to the Nigerian Nollywood audience?
Omotola: We don’t talk about PTS that much in Nigeria, so, when you see someone that is mentally traumatised, the first thing that comes to your mind is, “this person is crazy!”. We don’t talk about depression in Nigeria. We don’t talk about how it affects children, especially those that have been abused.
When you ask a lot of adults, you might find out that some people have been abused as children. And if we want to tell ourselves the truth, how many of us were actually able to tell our parents about this?
In Africa, it’s always a taboo to say, “uncle, somebody touched me”. They will practically ask you one million questions. “What did you say to him? How were you sitting? What were you wearing?” As if it’s your fault, you become the victim. Alter Ego sets out to address how sexual abuse affects victims as kids and as adults.
Sometimes, you see people as adults behave in a certain way, but because we have not diagnosed this problem – because in Africa, you are either just crazy and should go to Yaba Left; but we don’t think about the fact that people actually have psychological trauma and that PTSD actually affect Africans. We think it’s an Oyibo disease.
PT: Why were you drawn to Alter Ego?
Omotola: It’s the soul of the movie. It must come quickly in a movie and must also be underlining throughout the film. Some come naturally while some don’t. The movie got me on time because I switch very quickly; so if I read through the first 10 pages of a movie script and I don’t get the story, I get bored. I loved the film from the beginning but it was a diamond in the rough. I knew what was lacking in it. So, I called the director and told him we will have to tear the script apart and rebuild it and he gave me his nod. It takes a big mind to shoot Alter Ego.
PT: You once hinted of plans to build a film village in Badagry in conjunction with your husband. Will it be ready anytime soon?
Omotola: I hope it will be ready next year hopefully. I also began another project on Mobolaji Bank Anthony,Lagos, which is supposed to be annex of the film village first called, Double Doors. So, these are some of the things I was busy putting together when I went off the scene. I have always said that what we need in Nollywood is infrastructure. So, I needed to start building infrastructure.
PT: Do you think the Buhari administration has done enough for Nollywood?
Omotola: I think this government needs to wake up. The sad part is that they go around the world and they brag about Nollywood. That’s why I don’t understand how to brag about something you are not helping enough. They need to understand that Nollywood in itself is a force and it should have its own ministry. We have a problem in Nigeria which is that we are afraid to allow ourselves be great. So, instead of allowing someone who knows his or her onions do the job we put stumbling blocks because of “see finish”. But if a white person comes along, we will support him or her. We need to start supportting ourselves. You will be amazed to know that Nollywood is the second (highest) employer of labour in Nigeria after agriculture. I think if they want to be sincere they will say Nollywood is number one. Why don’t we forget our immediate petty jealousy and begin to invest in this industry?
PT: You have yet to star in a Yoruba film?
Omotola: I starred in one a long time ago titled No Rival and Oyato. I might be shooting one soon. It’s not a fully Yoruba film; it’s a collaboration. I’m currently reading the script.

"Help my son was taken away from me by social welfare and kept with a Muslim family "- Nigerian woman in Sweden cries out. ( Read full details).

A facebook user posted this urgent SOS and we picked it to share to our readers if they can lend their voices and help her. She said....
.

Urgent .... Hot tears rushing down my cheeks , holy anger rising.... Every Sister please raise your voice for this mother.

I know our God will give us victory..

"Good morning Madam Nonnie. I am a Nigerian but I live in Sweden. My son Emmanuel was taken by the social welfare and kept in a Muslim family home since March 15th, 2016. Reason was that they said he told the teachers at school that his mother beat him.
But since he was taken away, my son have been begging them to bring him home to his mother. But they have refused.
Instead they are torturing my child and even beating him and starving him of food.
He looks so sick and weak and dirty. They don't care for him. They are using him to collect money from the government. It is a lot of money and for that reason they have refused to let him come home.

My son was healthy before they took him away. Now they claim that he has autism and mental problem. They say this so that government will continue to pay them more money.

I am worried for the life of my child. They have given him different drugs just to destroy the child and continue to make money from government.

I have been fighting for them to release my child but because I am a foreigner they said that I can't do nothing. They are in control and their decisions is final. Now they want to take him out from this country to Palestine and Turkey. I don't know the reason why.

I don't have anyone to speak for me and my child except God.

I have a meeting with them on 29th of this month (Thursday next week). At that meeting the politicians will decide if my child will come home or not. Usually they favour their people than strangers.

I am asking my sisters to join hands and pray with me for the decisions to be in my favour. I beg every woman and mother to stand in the gap for me and my child. So that God will intervene just as HE did when the Egyptians refused to let the Israelites go.
I have been on fasting since last year my son was taken away. I have lost weight, depressed, weak and unhappy.

May Heaven intercede on my behalf, Amen.
Please share my story and do not disclose my name. Thank you Ma.

Exposed: Why Do Women Cheat? The Reason Will Shock You!

Dear Reader,

If you are a married man and you wish to know how to PREVENT your wife from cheating on you with some never to do well stranger, then you NEED to read this very article to the end or risk losing your woman to another man for cheap pleasures!

 Why Did I Say So?

This is because, the if you read this info, you’ll discover how to make your woman to…

Show You MORE love and affection ( that’s the sweetest feeling in the world!)

What to do to make her MORE loyal & Truthful to you!

What to do to give her mind blowing sex with her so that she have no other option than to stick with you!

My name is Dr Segun, a Sexual health activist who’s mission is to help men become better men especially on bed so that they can win the respect of their woman and lead a happy home.

And today, I am going to show you why women cheat so you ca learn from it.

So…

 Why Do Women Cheat?

You see, what men need to understand is that women are EMOTIONAL & SEXUAL being and so, if you don’t satisfy them the way that will blow their mind…you WILL lose them….likely to another man.

So what are the reasons that can make you lose your woman to another man?

Here they are…

Abusing them Physically:

If you are a wife beater, you are not fit to be called a man, because only a weak man will beat his wife and because you are weak man, you might lose your wife to another man because of your unbecoming behavior.

So, if you are the type that beat your woman, just know that some day she might turn back and beat you or run away to another man, making you a lonely loser.

Th funny thing is, you’ll hardly find a woman to show you love and affection because most women are good at sensing a wife beater and once that is done, you have lost them forever!

So no woman, no good sex for you. Bad news!

Not Giving Them Love and Attention :

Remember, women are emotional beings right? So naturally if you don’t show love to your woman, may be by not showering her with gifts, giving her money with LOVE so she can take good care of herself or just not caring at all, my brother, you have risked losing you woman to another man, because women love attention, it makes them feel special.

So always ensure you are showing  her the much needed love, care and affection so you can make her happy, she will stick to you like a glue.

If you are So TERRIBLE on Bed:

Truth be told, this is the MAJOR reason why women cheat!

If you have a Micro Manhood & you don’t last 2 mins, brother, even if you if you protect your woman like an egg, give her 1 Million Dollars & show her love like you are “MR ROMEO” but you are terrible on bed, you will lose you woman!

I repeat, you will lose your woman!

So if you have a MICRO manhood or you are a 2 mins man, sorry to say…there is fire on the mountain for you!

You see…

Being terrible on bed is MAJOR turn off for women, some will tell it to your face, but many of them will NEVER tell you to your face, because they feel it will make you embarrassed and unmanly.

Which is actually true!

But when they get fed up…

They will cheat on you!

Look at what Madam “brown Bear” has to say…

Look at what “Starved Wife” have to say…

So you can see, women can cheat on you if you are very poor on bed but I have good news for you…

Are you a 2 Mins Man?

Do You Have a Small Manhood?

How top South East bizmen shared loot with me —Evans

After several denials, suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeje George Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has finally admitted some prominent southeast businessmen provided information on victims and shared from the ransoms.

The Nation gathered yesterday that the suspect had given a lot of names to the police, most of whom were currently being tracked.

It was gathered that the kingpin also disclosed that some of his accomplices were based in Europe, which explained his craze to collect ransoms in foreign currencies.

According to a source, Evans explained that he usually shared the loot with his informants on a 60%/40% basis.

The source said Evans had threatened to make a public announcement should the police fail to arrest those he mentioned.

He said:

“It is true. He has mentioned some very prominent businessmen from the southeast as those who provided information on people he kidnapped.  He claimed that they shared from the ransoms he collected.
“Evans claimed that most of his accomplices were based in Europe and that they were into drug business. The information he provided is being investigated. You do not expect the police to go and arrest people just like that.
“We have to be sure there is a connection between Evans and those mentioned. Once that is established, they would all be arrested. But he has been threatening to go public, if people mentioned are not arrested”
