British Airways Plane Catches Fire At The Airport.

A British Airways plane caught fire yesterday at Las Vegas airport as the plane prepared to take off. According to reports, the Boeing 777 which was bound for London's Gatwick Airport,was getting ready to take off when passengers heard a loud sound. After a minute, the pilot told the passengers that there was an emergency and they needed to evacuate.

Thankfully no one was seriously injured. The only minor injuries was sustained as passengers slid down the inflatable chutes to evacuate the plane. The cause of the fire has not yet been stated.

Nigerian Army have intercepted and arrested some kingpins and foot soldiers of suppliers of drugs to Boko Haram terrorists.
The arrested suppliers were nabbed between Dep- chi and Geidam, in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State, yesterday. Found on them were hard drugs and other stimulants being used by the insurgents.read more

Former Enugu State Gov, Chimaroke Nnamani Loses Wife.

Wife of Former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu State, Nnenna Agnes Nnamani has died at the age of 47. A statement by Dan Nwomeh, the media aide to the former governor, says Nnenna died following complications from sickle cell disease and cerebral aneurysm at a florida Hospital in the US on Friday August 4th.

May her soul rest in peace Amen.
