Blues Legend B.B. King Dead at 89



Blues legend B.B. King has passed away. He was 89 years old.
According to his attorney, Brent Bryson, King dies peacefully in his sleep at 9:40pm.
Up until recently, B.B. King performed more than 100 shows a year. The 15-time Grammy winner suffered from diabetes. Last October, he collapsed during a concert in Chicago due to dehydration and exhaustion.
King spent the last few monthsin hospice care at his home.

Some Nigerian army officers who have banded together to be called “The Patriotic Officers Front” have written an unflattering open letter to President Goodluck Jonathan in which they copied President-elect, Gen. Muhamadu Buhari.

The soldiers accused Mr. Jonathan of complacency, espionage, corruption and weakness. They also alleged that the menace of Boko Haram and its wars against Nigeria was indirectly but intentionally allowed by GEJ whom they alleged armed the insurgents.
