Thomas Markle accuses Prince Harry of 'arrogance' and vows to continue to 'get louder' if he and Meghan don't make contact with him

Meghan Markle's father Thomas has hit back at 'arrogant' Prince Harry in a bold warning to his daughter.

The 74-year-old urged Prince Harry to 'man up' and threatened that he would continue speaking out about his daughter if her and Harry didn't contact him soon.

Having previously spoken to members of the press, Mr Markle admitted he had made mistakes but said that his son-in-law needed to 'man up and get over it' before he gets progressively 'louder'.

Mr Markle continues to reach out to his daughter despite the fact that they have not spoken since her marriage to Prince Harry.

Thomas Markle, (pictured) has had no contact with his daughter since she married Prince Harry, and has said he is 'very upset' by the criticism his 37-year-old daughter is receiving

The Prince had reportedly previously urged Thomas not to speak to the press but had been caught co-operating with a paparazzi photographer.

According to the Sun, Prince Harry had warned Mr Markle that: 'This is what happens when you don't listen to what we tell you to do.'

However Mr Markle has said that he will continue to talk: 'Meghan and Harry's silence empowers all the crazy tweets and insults against me and my family.'

2019: Tinubu said nothing when Hausa/Fulani killed Yoruba people, he’s a betrayer – Senator Okurounmu

A leading chieftain of the Yoruba apex social-political organization, Afenifere, Senator Femi Okurounmu has revealed how National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, and factional leader of Afenifere, Ayo Fasanmi have been betraying Yoruba people.

Okurounmu said that when herdsmen were on rampage in Yorubaland maiming and killing innocent farmers on their farms, nobody heard Tinubu and Ayo Fasanmi utter a word.

The former lawmaker maintained that Afenifere is not polarized but still much intact.

According to him, “There is only one Afenifere, and that authentic Afenifere is the one being led by Chief Reuben Fasoranti to which Chief Adebanjo, my humble self and other progressive elements and eminent Yoruba belong to.

“This Afenifere group is the one that genuinely serve the interests of Yoruba people.”

Okurounmu, who spoke in an interview with Sun, insisted that “The group being led by Ayo Fasanmi is a renegade group. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State created this group and Fasanmi and other few rebellious elements that belong to this group are Tinubu’s puppets.

“Tinubu is their political master and leader, and they are always serving Tinubu’s interests and not Yoruba interests.

“You can only hear Ayo Fasanmi, a 94-year -old man speaking out only when Tinubu’s interest is involved.

“You will never see Ayo Fasanmi utter a single word when Yoruba interests are involved.

“How many Nigerians even know Ayo Fasanmi. Does his name even ring a bell like that of Fasoranti and Pa Ayo Adebanjo?

“On several occasions in the past and even in recent time where Yoruba’s interests are threatened or where Yoruba are being persecuted, it is only the authentic Afenifere under Pa Reuben Fasoranti that has been speaking out defending Yoruba interests.

“Few instances will suffice here. About two years ago when some Hausa and Fulani were killing Yoruba people in Ile-Ife, was it not Afenifere led by Fasoranti that spoke out and defended Yoruba interests?

“Another instance of Tinubu and Ayo FAsanmi’s betrayal of Yoruba people was when herdsmen were on rampage in Yorubaland maiming and killing innocent farmers on their farms.

“Did anybody hear Tinubu and his puppet Ayo Fasanmi talking? No, they kept quiet because Fulani herdsmen involved in killing Yoruba farmers were kinsmen of Buhari, an ally of Tinubu.

“Rather than speaking out against this evil for posterity sake, 94 year old Ayo Fasanmi kept quiet because he wanted to please Tinubu.

“Fasanmi at his age when he should speak out the truth kept quiet. He didn’t want to offend Tinubu the man who is sponsoring him and his group.

“Even when Chief Olu Falae was kidnapped on his farm by these Fulani herdsmen, Tinubu and Pa Ayo Fasanmi didn’t utter a word of condemnation because President Buhari, his friend’s kinsmen were involved.

“How then would any rational person refer to Fasanmi and Tinubu as genuine Yoruba leaders? Ayo Fasanmi is an impostor. Since 2003, he and some renegade members of Afenifere have pulled out of the organization at Tinubu’s prompting and since then Tinubu has been using Ayo Fasanmi as a willing political tool to serve his personal interests.

“Afenifere as a group has come a long way starting from the days of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo in the 40s. The group under Awolowo first started as Egbe Omo Oduduwa before it became Afenifere later, still under the leadership of Chief Awolowo.

“But after Awolowo’s death, other prominent and eminent Yoruba that have led the group include late Chief Adekunle Ajasin and late Pa Abraham Adesanya. It was after Adesanya’s death that Pa Reuben Fasoranti emerged as Afenifere leader, and he still remains the bona fide and authentic Afenifere leader.

“Nigerians should disregard Ayo Fasanmi. Fasanmi is Tinubu’s creation and puppet. Tinubu uses him for his personal and political interests.”

Presidency didn’t give us N150million -NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has faulted the accusations that it received N150 million from presidency, saying that President Muhammadu Buhari was not the type that offers bribe.
The leadership of NANS distanced itself from the purported allegations by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The students said Buhari, a known person in character and style to virtually all Nigerians, would never dole out such amount of money for any reason, which would not be of any national benefits or developments.
The students Union body said in a statement signed by Mr Adeyemi Amoo, it’s National Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Amoo called on Nigerian students to discountenance the allegations by ASUU, saying that the association was ready to protect the interest of all the students.

President Buhari on January 3, met with the leadership of the Nigerian Students to resolve issues with ASUU and the meeting centred on ways to smoothen unresolved issues that led to the industrial action.

“Our attention has been drawn to the purported and sponsored allegation, that NANS had been bribed by President Muhammadu Buhari with a sum of N150million to protest against ASUU.

“We commend the well-meaning, intellectual and genuine civil society groups for not falling cheap for this blackmail, as we’ve gotten informed and reliably that they’ve also been lobbied by ASUU to join them in pushing such blackmail.
“We are not surprised that this blackmail isn’t flying beyond the pseudo groups they’ve been able to arrange and mobilise with cash.
“President Muhammadu Buhari, is a known person in character and style to virtually all Nigerians, even the oppositions knows that Buhari will never give out such amount of money for any reason(s) that is not of national benefits or developments.
” No doubt this propaganda might have seen the acceptance of the masses if it wasn’t targeted towards Buhari himself.”
Amoo explained that NANS had earlier declared November 17, 2018 as a nationwide day of mass action tagged: “SAVE EDUCATION RALLY ” held simultaneously across the states of the federation, to protest the incessant strikes across universities, polytechnics and colleges of Education.
He added that in October 2018, NANS national leadership, met with the Minister for Education, to fine-tune ways of putting a long term end to the regular carnival of strikes in the educational sector.
“We thereby demanded as the major stakeholders in the sectors, to always have representatives at the meeting of ASUU with Federal Government, as this was targeted towards adding to the strength and voice of ASUU, so as to make government yield to there demands in time.
“The Federal Government on her own side sees the request of been an observer at the negotiation table with ASUU as a welcome development.
“NANS was invited twice to the meeting of Federal Government with ASUU, ably represented by the NANS national president, Danielson Akpan, but was walked out twice by the ASUU leadership, insisting that such negotiations must not be done in the presence of younger ones.

“NANS leadership begins to wonder what reasons might be behind the blind insistence of ASUU that NANS must not observe the meeting, when the Federal Government has wholeheartedly approved our attendance at such meetings.”

Amoo said the NANS leadership, ordinarily would have informed the students and the general public on this actions by ASUU, but decided not to give room for the government, to see the actions as an advantage to blackmail the ASUU.
He added that NANS after exhausting all means, resolved to issue an ultimatum to the Federal Government and ASUU to return to negotiation table to urgently safe students from getting involved or addicted to various forms of social vices.
According to him, NANS, in the course of getting things resolved urgently, sorted an audience with president Muhammadu Buhari, which was granted and held on January 3 at the presidential villa.

“At the meeting, NANS appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency resolve the ASUU strike, for him not to lose the support of over 20 million Nigerian students.
“This was the statement of the NANS president at the meeting as against the cheap blackmail that NANS has assured Buhari of mobilising 20 million votes for him.
“NANS, therefore, uses this medium to inform Nigerian students and Nigerians at large, that its leadership will not, and has not and will not for any reason sell the interest and integrity of our dear organisation.

“Conclusively, we want to tell ASUU that NANS is not for sell, we have not and will not turn our struggles to source of empowerment,” he said.

This is coming after Local media in China, shared news of mobile-savvy beggars in the city of Jinan, in China’s Shandong province. They gather in areas popular with tourists, holding begging bowls that contain a QR code printout. Anyone with Alipay, WeChat Wallet, or some other mobile payment app can scan the code and make a donation.

One of the beggars who caught the media’s attention was reportedly a man with mental problems and the QR code he had was made by his family to help him. However, it also appeared that QR code begging serves other purposes besides generating income for people down on their luck. According to digital marketing company China Channel, many beggars in Beijing receive payment from local businesses for every QR code scanned by passers-by. The enterprises use these scans to collect people’s data from WeChat profiles, then sell the IDs for quite a pretty penny to small businesses. The latter use the information to bombard the users with unsolicited in-app advertisements.

Beware, APC’s bringing poverty, hunger, insecurity, Okowa warns Deltans

SENATOR Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, on Saturday, warned Deltans to beware of the change promise being mouthed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, saying it will amount to hunger, poverty, inequity and insecurity if allowed to take over the state.

This is just as he stressed the need for peace, equity, love and understanding among Deltans will subsist, saying better days are ahead if he is reelected governor of the state in the coming general elections under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the elections.

The governor made the plea on Saturday at the kick-off of PDP’s campaign rally in Koko and Sapele local and at Oghara town in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state.

Thousands of party members and supporters from various constituencies of the state graced the occasion, pledging their unalloyed support in votes for all PDP candidates.

Delta State PDP chairman, Chief Kingsley Esiso, said Deltans’ vote for PDP was a vote for peace, joy and equity among the three senatorial districts of the state.

“We nor dey quarrel, the political game we dey play here na among every senatorial district, Delta Central don do their own, Delta South don do their own, now na Delta North turn.

“So we nor go dey play wayo dey cheat ourselves, na make we say, make we dey do am like this, so that peace and happiness go dey for all of us together, some people say na change dey wan bring come, but as you see na hardship, poverty and suffering follow dey come,” he enthused.

Esiso, who also used the occasion to introduce various aspirants vying for political positions in the state and at the national level, urged Deltans to vote for PDP in order to sustain the dividends of democracy, existing peace and unity among Deltans, and sustainable development across the State.

Addressing the mammoth crowd in Koko, and Sapele town respectively, Senator Okowa, who was in company of his deputy Mr Kingsley Otuaro and their spouses and other government functionaries, said the so called ‘change’ brought by APC has only brought hunger and privation to the people.

“My people, I wan thank una for the support una give me for the first tenure, and we don assure una say the good things wen this government don dey do, we go continue dey do am.

“Delta State na state wen God don bless with good leaders, since day one to rule, but some people wen promise change wan scatter the peace and unity when we dey enjoy for the state.

“Make una nor let anybody come deceive una, play wayo say na change dey wan bring again, that na big lie, den wan bring hunger, poverty, and joblessness, make una vote Okowa, and Atiku for prosperity,” the governor noted.

Other party dignitaries who graced the rally included Senator, James Manager, PDP Delta South Senatorial candidate, State Director General Campaign Committee, Funkekeme Solomon and Chairman Publicity Secretary, Tonye Timi, among others.

I’m not related to Buhari, Amina Zakari responds

Amina Zakari, whose recent appointment as the head of collation centre for the 2019 general  elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has said she isn’t a niece of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has raised a lot of dust since the appointment was announced, noting that Zakari,  a princess from Zamfara state, is the nice of the President.

However, in an interview with BBC News Igbo, debunked the allegation saying “I am not his niece, I am not his cousin. I was appointed on this same particular job by Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010. Prior to that I was appointed an A.S to former president Olusegun Obasanjo, and I did my job perfectly”.
Zakari was born to the late Emir of Kazaure, Hussaini Adamu, on June 23rd, 1960.

Buhari’s admittance of relationship with Amina Zakari vindicates our stand - PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization, PPCO, has said President Muhammadu Buhari’s admittance of an inter-marriage relationship with Amina Zakari, a national commissioner with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has vindicated its stance that she cannot be trusted with the collation of the 2019 Presidential election results.

The campaign council also tasked President Buhari to respond to criticisms about two years ago by Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed that he (President Buhari) pushed for the appointment of Amina Zakari to represent his interest at the commission

In a statement signed by PPCO’s Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP urged the President to speak more on his relationship with the former Director of Operation at INEC. The statement read in part: “It is now clear that in addition to the relationship by affinity, President Buhari also has a consanguinity relationship with Amina Zakari and has not denied that he started his early childhood in Amina Zakari’s father’s house.

“President Buhari’s admittance has effectively established that the PDP has not been crying wolf on the impropriety of involving Mrs. Amina Zakari in the collation of Presidential election results, let alone being appointed to head the final determination of the Presidential election.

“It is totally unethical and immoral for an umpire to insist on officiating a contest even when her impartiality is called to question. Even in the judiciary, judges recuse themselves in cases involving parties they have affinity with. Mrs. Amina Zakari must therefore, recuse herself, if the 2019 presidential election must be credible.”

The party further challenged the first citizen to relieve Amina of her duty at INEC, if he is sure of winning the polls without her, saying “if indeed, President Buhari is a man of integrity and is not pushing an ulterior motive with Amina Zakari, why is he insisting that she must be in INEC and that she must be at the collation of Presidential result?

“Furthermore, if President Buhari believes he is popular among Nigerians and can win in a free and fair contest, why is he fixated at manipulating the electoral process, instead of allowing INEC to have a free hand to conduct this election?

At APC rally in Kano, Aisha Buhari walks out on Ganduje

The wife of the President Aisha Buhari on Saturday walked out on the governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, at the APC Women and Youth Presidential Campaign rally in Kano.

Mrs Buhari kick-started the rally in Kano with a call on women and youths to vote for the APC in the general elections.

Fabmimi gathered that no sooner had Mr Ganduje started delivering his speech at the rally than she stood up and left, creating commotion.

It was gathered that soon after the drama, most of the crowd also join the wife of the president to leave Sani Abacha Stadium, the venue of the event.

Other sources said it was a breach of protocol on the side of the state government for scheduling the governor’s speech after the wife of the president.

On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated a-700 member women and youth campaign team chaired by his wife, Aisha with a call on them to embark on house to house campaign for his re-election.

The campaign team which drew membership from across the country was constituted by his wife and the wife of the vice president, Dolapo Osinbajo, as co-chair.

Inaugurating the committee at the State House Conference Hall, Mr Buhari said the APC led government had made numerous landmark achievements, assuring that  change struggle remained unshaken until Nigeria was put on track to assume its rightful place among the comity of nations.

“The Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team being inaugurated today (yesterday) was constituted to support the Presidential Campaign Council which I chair. This shows the importance with which we view the role of women and youths as the backbone of the Nigerian electorate.

“As such, they should be the drivers of our campaign, more so, they are the major direct and indirect beneficiaries of our social investment programmes. In carrying out this assignment, I expect from members of this team the same loyalty and support which you exhibited in 2015,” he said.

R Kelly plotted to kill ex, 17, who leaked sex tape of singer raping and peeing on victim, 14

After the video got into the hands of law enforcement and Kelly was hit with child pornography, he allegedly plotted to kill Evans she reveals (Kelly and the alleged girl in the sex tape)

The release of the infamous sex tape that led to R. Kelly's arrest on charges of child pornography is the focus of the second chapter of the three-part docuseries Surviving R. Kelly airing Friday night.

It includes interviews with a  number of the women who were involved in the scandal, including the person who stole the videotape from Kelly's library and got it in the hands of a Chicago journalist.

That was Lisa Van Allen, who was just 17 and believed that she was Kelly's girlfriend at the time due to the fact that she spent all her time with him and they were havcing a sexual relationship.

She was one of the few victims to break free from Kelly on her own terms, and says in the episode that she started seeing the singer in a different light after he convinced her to have a threesome with another girl but did not reveal her actual age.

It was that same girl, who was just 14, that Kelly could be seen with on the tape Allen claimed to have lifted from his library.

Allen struggles to maintain her composure while recalling the events, and at one point suddenly shuts down and begins to silently cry.

She then says: 'I just didn't know there was a point in time they were talking about killing me.'

It was Stephanie Edwards, better known as Sparkle, who first introduced Kelly to the young victim - who was also her niece.

She reveals how over time she went from surprised to concerned and eventually disgusted at the relationship between the singer and the young teen.

That is why she decided to speak out against the singer and testify during his trial when others remained silent.

She event turned down an offer in the high-six figures to film herself calling a truce with Kelly, saying she cannot be bought.

At the trial, which took place in 2008, Sparkle testified under oath that the video, filmed in 2000, showed Kelly and her niece.

Allen very bravely did the same during the proceedings, which kicked off with jurors watching the tape in its entirety.

In the end, Kelly was acquitted by a jury of his peers.

And after dodging jail time Kelly's next move was to bed a 14-year-old high school freshman who had been camping outside the courthouse to see the singer.

She too shares her story on the third and fourth episodes of the docuseries on Friday.

Brainwashed:Allen (above at 17) believed that she was Kelly's girlfriend at the time due to the fact that she spent all her time with him and they were havcing a sexual relationship.

Hitting back: It was Stephanie Edwards, better known as Sparkle (above) , who first introduced Kelly to the young victim - who was also her niece

New victim: He then began having a relationship with a girl, 14, he met outside the courthouse during the trial

The series premiered Thursday on Lifetime and sheds new light on charges against the artist, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly.

The team behind Surviving R. Kelly held dozens of interviews filmed with members of the singer's inner circle.

In the documentary, backup singers detailed sexual relations between R. Kelly and three girls under the age of 16, including 15-year-old star Aaliyah, who died in 2001 in a plane crash.

Kelly is indicted in a Florida courtroom in 2002

The allegations are subject to criminal prosecution in several US states including Illinois, where R. Kelly lived as a resident of Chicago.

Aaliyah's mother Diane Haughton called the allegations 'fabrications' and accused the witnesses of being "saboteurs of Aaliyah's legacy."

In the documentary, women portray R. Kelly as manipulative, violent and focused on young girls, allegedly demanding they call him 'daddy.'

Lizzette Martinez, who met the artist at age 17 as he was approaching his thirties, says she was a victim of 'mental and physical abuse' during their relationship, which lasted several years.

'He stole my life from me being abused like this,' she says in the documentary directed by filmmaker Dream Hampton.

'I don't think he understands girls that are young how impressionable we are and how traumatic these experiences are.'

She then adds: 'They change you forever.'

Few celebrities participated in the documentary, despite the willingness of many to record with the artist in the wake of his child pornography trial.

John Legend is the rare exception, stepping up whereas others like Jay Z and Lady Gaga declined to participate.

He addressed the praise he received from many on social media Thursday by tweeting.
