The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have given the Federal Government certain conditions to be met before the union could call off its four-month old strike.

The House of Representatives descended into a brief chaos Wednesday after eight prospective members, declared election winners last week by the Court of Appeal, were forced out of the chamber as they made attempts to forcefully reclaim their seats.

No Plans To Withdraw Nigeria From I.C.C-President Jonathan.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday in Abuja told the President of the International Criminal Court, Sang-Hyun Song, that Nigeria was not considering withdrawing from the jurisdiction of the Court.

Speaking at an audience with Song, Jonathan said, however, that while Nigeria still maintains its endorsement and commitment to the guiding principles and objectives of the ICC, it wanted urgent action to address the current concerns of African leaders over the operations of the court.
