2 Nigerians Held In Dubai For Stealing Dh900,000 In Cash.

Two Nigerians have been accused of stealing Dh900,000 in cash by stunning guards of a security company that transports money using an electroshock weapon.

The Nigerian duo, 25-year-old A.A. and 23-year-old J.K., were said to have ambushed the two guards, a Ugandan and a Nepalese, and attacked them near an ATM machine at Lulu Village, Al Muhaisnah, in October 2013.
Prosecutors said the Nigerians used force to attack the guards, who were carrying the money to refill the ATM machine.
The defendants admitted that they took the money when they showed up before the Dubai Court of First Instance, but denied having any intention to do what they did.

A poor Indian couple have made a desperate appeal for financial help to save the life of their son who was born with his heart outside his body.

Priyanka Pal, 24, was rushed to the labour room of the government-run Sultanpur Hospital in Uttar Pradesh state late last Wednesday where she gave birth to a baby boy.

But the baby was born with the incredibly rare condition ectopia cordis, which left his heart protruding from his chest, and now needs expensive emergency surgery to prevent him from dying within days.
