The Preston foundation is a non governmental organisation dedicated to the care of persons living with disabilities.

Its mission is to put smiles on the faces of the physically challenge especially children in the rural areas, to fight against discrimination of persons living with disabilities and help them explore their true potentials.

Its vision is to see a society were persons living with disabilities will be encourage to harness their potentials and stop discrimination against them, to see that persons living with disabilities have access to education, wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aid, walking sticks etc.

Within a very short period of time, Thy have been able to support over two hundred persons living with disabilities by way of providing crutches, wheelchairs, hearing aid, walking sticks, hospital bills, tuition and vocational studies.

A lot still needs to be done, alone we can do nothing except with the support of all those who share in our vision. Please support a child to get a pair of crutches or wheelchair, s/he may have been your ward and remember it could have been you.

A pair of crutches cost just five thousand naira while the cost of a wheelchair is thirty five thousand naira. Together we can put smiles on the faces of persons living with disabilities.

6 Persons Killed,10 Trapped As 3 Storey Building Collapse At Oloto Street Ebute Meta.

A 3-storey building at Oloto Street, Ebute Meta, collapsed at about 2.35 a.m. trapping about 10 people. 6 people were said to have been killed and emergency rescue officials have been able to rescue 2 children from the rubble. Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
