A new twist in the ongoing agitation by pro- Biafran group emerged on Thursday when the social media was awash with pictures purportedly claiming that soft drink giant, Coca- Cola, was supporting its cause with pictures of some Coca-Cola cans with the inscriptions “Nnamdi Kanu” and “Biafrans”. Kanu, who is the director of Radio Biafra and head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was arrested in Lagos in October 2015, a development which prompted widespread protests within and outside the country with pro-Biafra agitators calling for the independence of the Biafran territories.read more

Policemen Traveling For Elections Re-Run Involved In Accident With Truck Carrying Cattle.[Photos].

About 100 police officers drafted from Akure, the Ondo state capital for the election rerun in Rivers state were involved in an auto accident on Friday, March 18. According to Sahara Reporters, the policemen were traveling in a police truck with registration number “NPF 5205 C” when it collided with another truck carrying cows along the East-West road near Akala – Olu community in Rivers state. Newly appointed BIPC M.D Mr Jack Mulya has expressed shock at the deteriorated condition of the Benue Plaza , he made this known at the end of his inspection visit to Lagos State to inspect facilities at the Benue plaza, which is located in the Victoria island few meters away from the bar beach(now Eko Atlantic City).

While inspecting the Lagos property, Mr. Mulya was highly disappointed with the deteriorated condition of the plaza.
