Real Reasons INEC Introduced Card Readers.


The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Tuesday said it introduced card readers for voters’ accreditation in order to verify the rightful owners of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.
The Electoral Officer for Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara, Abdulganiyu Bello, stated this in Kosubosu at a meeting with stakeholders in the area.

Buhari Reacts To Fayose’s Controversial "Death Wishing" Newspaper Advert.

 Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has responded to a controversial advert placed by the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose on the front page of Punch Newspaper.
The advert shows pictures of previously deceased Nigerian leaders and appears to predict death for Buhari as well saying that citizens should avoid another state burial by re-electing President Goodluck Jonathan.read more

Nigerian Police Imports US Sniffer Dogs For 2015 General Elections.



About 360, 000 security operatives as well as 25 sniffer dogs from the United States would be deployed in the states for the 2015 general elections, heads of security agencies have said.
