Workers at Head of Civil Service office protest over inadequate welfare.

Activities were today temporarily paralysed at the office of the  Head of Civil Service Federation, as workers on Wednesday, embarked on a protest to show their displeasure over inadequate welfare.

The angry protesters shut down the entrance gates lamented  over issues ranging from lack of training for years, Lifts not working, cleaners not being paid, among others…….

We can’t hand over arrested judges to EFCC – NJC


 



The National Judicial Council has said it is not part of its statutory responsibilities to hand over judges who are accused of corruption to anti-graft agencies for investigation and prosecution.The NJC also clarified that it could not recover proceeds of corruption and had no power to dismiss erring judges.

EFCC probes former Minister of Justice, Aondoakaa over $182m Halliburton scandal





The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday grilled a former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa (SAN), for his alleged role in the $182m Halliburton scandal.It was learnt that Aondoakaa, who served as AGF under the late President Umaru Yar’adua, arrived the office of the EFCC around 10am and was grilled for about eight hours.

Militants blow up Trans Forcados pipeline in Warri after Niger-Delta leaders' meeting with Buhari



Suspected militants have bombed a state-run oil pipeline near the southern Nigerian oil hub of Warri in the latest blow to the industry, a security source and community leader said Wednesday.
The Trans Forcados export line was attacked late Tuesday, they said, just hours after President Muhammadu Buhari met with representatives of militant groups in the oil-rich Niger delta to discuss how to end the unrest plaguing the region.

Fashola To Nigerian Engineers: Blames Yourselves For FG’s Preference For Foreign Contractors

President Buhari wise to end Saraki’s criminal trial - Atiku
