Davido to perform alongside international artistes Cardi B, Meek Mill at Belgium Festival

Davido has been listed as one of the artistes to perform at the three-day VestiVille Festival in Belgium.

The ‘Assurance’ singer, who recently had his first sold-out show at the O2 Arena in London, shared the news on his Instagram page.

NAN reports that VestiVille is a new music festival in Lommel, Belgium that is trying to position itself as the premier hip hop and urban music experience in Europe.

The artiste, who was born David Adeleke, will be performing alongside Migos, Lil Pump, Niska, Boef, Saweetie, Eno and Sevn Alias on June 29; the second day of the festival.

Artistes billed to perform on June 30 are Cardi B, Migos, Future, Meek Mill, Niska and Lil Pump.

Sharing a banner of the event of the festival on his Instagram page, Davido wrote: “Festival season 19 …. New level unlocked 😈🚀 @vestiville”.

Davido will also be performing at St. Kitts between June 26 and 30 alongside French Montana, Smokey Robinson and Popcaan.

 

Chris Brown released from police cell

U.S. singer Chris Brown, who was arrested in Paris on Monday with two other persons on suspicion of rape, has been released from police custody, the French prosecutor’s office said.

The police are still investigating the case, the French prosecutor’s office added.

The arrests were first reported by Closer magazine, which said Brown, his bodyguard and a friend were detained after a 24-year-old woman alleged she was raped at the singer’s suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on the night of Jan. 15.

The woman said she had met the men at a Paris nightclub earlier in the evening, according to the magazine.

Neither Brown nor his agents responded to requests for comment.

Brown, 29, whose previous legal troubles include assaulting singer Rihanna in 2009, had remained in custody on Tuesday, a judicial source said.

Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in an incident that made headlines around the world when a photo of her bruised face was released.

In 2016, Brown was arrested in Los Angeles after a woman said he had pointed a gun at her. Brown denied any wrongdoing.

A rape conviction in France can carry a sentence of 15 years.

Dammy Krane Reveals How Friends Abandoned Him During His Theft Case, Thanks 2Baba And Davido

For the first time since his arrest, trial for credit card fraud and subsequent acquittal in the United States, Nigerian pop star Dammy Krane is revealing those who stood by him during the ordeal and many fairweather friends who abandoned him at the time.

In 2017, fans were shocked when news of his arrest became public and many mocked him for struggling to live like a “baller”. All through, he maintained his innocence, claiming that it was a mixup by a promoter who booked him on a private jet flight with a bogus credit card.

While speaking with Net, he expressed his relief that he wasn’t found guilty as many feared he would. “Even till day, I just keep thanking God that I didn’t suffer for what I didn’t do,” he said as we put the question to him. “A lot of people were there for me in the past. But some of my friends abandoned me too. But I won’t mention names, it was tough, But God was on my side. People like 2Face and Davido and I just want to say thank you to everybody, keep supporting Dammy Krane.”

He also denies that his fascination with money and luxurious living may have made him befriend people of shady character. ‘I don’t have any fascination with money. It’s just how it is, everybody loves money and wants to make money. And my new song, Amen is just a song of hope, ” he says.

Adding that all he’s concerned about these days are his family members. “Right now, I have a priority equation. Everybody is my friend, but I have a few family and fans whom I hold dear to my heart.”

However, he’s not unmindful of the role of his former label boss, 2Baba who signed him to Hypertek Records in 2012. Having admired the pop legend for many years, he was gratified to have learnt directly from him during their time together. “Everybody sees the inside and outside of 2face, but I have seen the inside. You see, on the internet, you will only see someone’s success, not their failure, and I have actually learnt a lot from 2Baba and one thing I have learnt from him that you can’t live a Champagne lifestyle with a beer income.”

Reliving what happened on the day he was arrested, he said “I was afraid of what was going to happen, but I knew God will not let me down because I was innocent. Somewhere at the back of my mind, I knew that God was preparing me for something great. After the whole experience, I had a vision and God told me that I should remain prayerful and loyal to him and I will remain number one, and I believe I am still number one. In fact, it has started showing already, Go Down and Amen are topping different chats.”

He also touched on his relationship with Sinzu, the rapper formerly known as Sauce Kid who actually served jail time in the US for a similar case. As a result of their closeness, many fans assumed Sinzu inspired him to embrace a life of crime. “‘Saucekid is not a bad influence on me. I was only influenced by his music and nothing more, if I was influenced by his way of life, I would probably have a tattoo, which I don’t., you can’t scratch a Bentley, The thing is that people follow all the things they see online, if someone just wakes up and says someone is a thief, everyone automatically thinks you are a thief, a lot of people just believe anything.”

He ends the chat by accepting his own imperfections and continuous self-evaluation. “Nobody is perfect, everything we all go through is to learn a lesson when life throws you a lemon, you make a lemonade out of it. I think that was my situation, and God was preparing me for the next stage of my life.”

Why No Woman Lives With K1 The Ultimate In His N100M House

This is a house you would never ignore. Built and furnished with the best of interior designs, it is located in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Intentioned to be a country home, the multi-million naira edifice which is very close to the Ijebu-Ode Stadium sits on a 1,800 square metres of land.

Popularly referred to as Ule Omo Ojusagbola, the mansion which King Of Fuji, Ayinde Marshall aka KWAM 1 lives, comprises of four buildings in one.

First, there is the main house which has about seven bedrooms – five bedrooms located upstairs and two other rooms downstairs with a dinning section coupled with three living rooms. Then, there is a state-of-the-art gym and a studio.

Initially, when it was built about four years ago, estate valuers estimated the cost of the architectural masterpiece to be about N100 million.

Also, the Fuji maestro must have added colour to the area. Little wonder, the street was in September 2018 renamed after his ancestral progenitor. So, the Ijebu Ode local government, renamed the former Liworo Avenue in G.R.A Ijebu Ode to ‘Omo Ojusagbola Avenue’.

The main house which is quite big is adorned by about six Graeco Roman designed huge pillars which are usually found in the mansions of the super-rich. The house is said to have quite a number of high grade bulletproof Swisstrade doors imported from Switzerland.

Well, in Ojushagbola, a nice ambience would welcome you at night. What more, the interior design and styling are fit for kings.It spells royalty and the owner has received quite a number of distinguished personalities in his abode. He has thrown three wedding parties for some of his children in the edifice.

Surprisingly, no woman lives in this mansion with KWAM1.

According to sources close to the Fuji King, he hardly lives with a woman. No diabolical insinuations here.

“KWAM 1 just loves his space to himself and would not want any woman to disturb or disrupt his activities. He loves his kids and care for them but he would rather have them stay with their mothers than living with him. Remember, he is a polygamist and having all his wmen and children in a place could be uncomfortable for him. He deals with his wives and kids the way he feels comfortable with and everyone is happy,” a source told Kemiashefonlovehaven exclusively.

Recall that the Fuji maestro married one of his wives, Titilope Marsha, legally in March 2018 on his 61st birthday at a private ceremony at his Ijebu mansion.

Unknown to many, Titi, who was once married to Tunde Bashua and left him before marrying K1, does not live in the Ule Ojushagbon.

“She lives with her parents in Lagos and visits Ijebu whenever her husband sends for her. There was a time he wanted to get an apartment for her on the Mainland but Titi refused. She would rather stay with her parents on the Island than live anywhere else. Alhaji (KWAM1) hardly allows Titi and her three kids in Ijebu but would rather send money for their upkeep. Though there are times she forces her way to be in Ijebu, K1 knows how to discharge her promptly.

 

“He is a very meticulous man, who is also a very good cook. Pay him a visit in Ijebu and he would be the one to cook delicious meals for you. He cannot stand his house to be in disarray especially with little kids around,” said a source to Kemiashefonlovehaven.

That he lives alone with other domestic staff is not new to some of his friends and fans, who believe he needs to operate like that for a successful career.

“The life of an entertainer cannot be check-mated by a woman. He could travel for many weeks and not be home. He could even leave home and not return until the next day. How many women would allow that? There was a time he lived with one of his wives but Alhaji was not comfortable with the idea and started living in hotels instead. These woman eventually packed out of the house. He is an entertainer, he needs to be free of the encumberances of marriage,” the source said.

Kemi Olunloyo reacts as Stella DimokoKorkus blast Linda Ikeji for theft

Though Madam Kemi Olunloyo said she has forgiven, linda ikeji, she has reacted after Stella DimokoKorkus blasted Linda Ikeji for alleged theft.

Kemi Olunloyo took to her Instagram page to wade in on the apparent fight between Linda Ikeji and Stella DimokoKorkus.

The two who were once best of friends, seem to be at loggerheads, and below is what kemi has to say about it all;

#HNNGossip I’m the only NIGERIAN in the Top 10 pioneer bloggers in the world @time magazine 1999. Many of you were babies when this started in 2006. Linda is a blogger, Stella and I are Journalists. There is a big difference. Journalists who blog are called professional bloggers. Mr Aye Dee took Linda’s blog down for 29 hours because of copyright infringement. I was the first to fight for Linda behind the scenes and told you her blog will return live at midnight and it did plus I tweeted it #LIVE. My Twitter genius @tade355 go find me those tweets. I called my friend Sergei Brim co-founder of Google who linked with Google Nigeria. The beef here is long-standing. At the Nigerian Tribune in 2013, I was told to do a story on Nigeria’s top Female bloggers. When I compiled the list, Stella declined to be featured if Linda was on it. Next I was Linda’s victim. The 2013 gun story where she diminished my brand. I dropped the Tribune story and instead I wrote a story on how Nigerian bloggers have generally failed because of copying and syndicating each other. Linda also made fun of Stella’s oyinbo babies saying she slept with oil expats and didn’t know the father of her kids when she actually married one and had kids with him before they moved to Germany. I watched all this play out from 2005-2018. The solution now is Linda, keep your interns trained on photo credits and sourcing info. Someone will take down your blog permanently like what happened to Twitter. That could collapse your empire. Don’t let it happen!! We are web logging and logging the web is not all copy and paste. #WEBLOGGING without the we is what is termed blogging. You must credit and source content from the web meaning other people’s work. Abacha’s daughter Gumsu defends Stella DimokoKorkus in fight with Linda Ikeji

Abacha’s daughter Gumsu, has reacted to the fight between Stella DimokoKorkus and Linda Ikeji as she further alleged that the devil lives in Linda.

This came after Stella DimokoKorkus called Linda Ikeji a sperm thief and a content thief, who is using other people to reply her. Stella had written;

Linda the snake,Why are you using other people to reply me? Talk to me directly and stop hiding.i see they are urging you to fight on. I may not be as rich as you claim to be but I don’t steal people’s sperm and I don’t go to peoples hotel room to steal stuff not given to them. I don’t lie on people and I don’t bad mouth people and put them on speaker the way you do your celeb friends and laugh at them. The people fighting for you did u tell them the reason you and I don’t talk? Sperm thief Content thief and the other one. Come out of your maternity leave and stop hiding. You stole my stories to build your blog. I couldn’t do anything and when it was too much I lifted your interview to show you how it feels but no u didn’t get the message becos it runs through you. I carried my kids in my womb and I know who their father is, and I am so proud of myself. Like I said you are small fry. #please reply again and I will get back to you if I am still less busy and if not I will reply you as soon as I can. #ole.

Fans drag Toyin Abraham after being pictured with Osinbajo for tradermoni

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham was dragged into an exchange with her fans after she was spotted with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi for the distribution/monitoring of Tradermoni in Ibadan.

Sharing a video from the event, Toyin Abraham wrote;

Was in Ibadan with the Vice President and Gov.of OYO state yesterday for distribution/monitoring of Tradermoni, it is surprising that many people just heard about it yesterday. I am also challenged to become more involved in politics and policy governing Nigerians. Please young people, let’s not stand far away anymore, it is time to get more involved. Things are happening, things are yet to happen, if we are not involved, we will not know. Cheers to a beautiful weekend

Recall that Femi Kuti who headlined the Felabration event which was held few weeks ago, revealed how Vice President Yemi Osinbajo appealed to him to support Buhari’s government, which he refused.

According to Femi Kuti, he can’t support Buhari’s government because of his father even though Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is his friend. His statement in the presence of the Nigerian Vice President and the crowd which turned up for the Felabration event, led to wild cheers.
