[VIDEO]: POLICEMAN, LASTMA OFFICIAL FIGHT DIRTY IN BROAD DAY LIGHT

The officials in action

A policeman and an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority created a scene on Wednesday at the Lekki Phase 1 end of the Lekki-Epe Expressway when they engaged each other in a public fight.

FM learnt that the incident happened around 9am as motorists and residents hurry to their places of work.

Two video clips of the incident, which were posted on Instagram by a witness, @neighborhoodclothing, showed the two officials pushing each other on the median, as other policemen and LASTMA officials tried in vain to separate them.

The policeman could be seen shoving, kicking and punching the traffic official in the short video clips.

“It happened around 9am just opposite the entrance into the Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1. I was driving to work when I witnessed the incident. I observed that there was first an argument between the men. Suddenly, one grabbed the other and they started fighting. I couldn’t find out what happened between them,” the poster of the video said.
