Amodu Shuaibu Appointed Technical Director By NFF.

Amodu gets technical director's letter
Former Super Eagles'coach, Shuaibu Amodu, has received his appointment letter from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as the Federation's technical director.
The NFF yesterday, in Abuja, also issued appointment letters to Amodu's assistants, James Peters and Kashimawo Laloko.
"I can confirm that we have been handed our letters of appointment by the Nigeria Football Federation. I was appointed the assistant national technical director for youth and women development and will work with my boss, Amodu Shuaibu, who was appointed the national technical director," Peters told MTNFootball.com. Laloko is appointed assistant technical director for youth development.
Amodu qualified Nigeria for the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, but on both occasions he did not take the team to the finals, as the NFF bypassed him and hired Frenchman Philippe Troussier and Swedish Lars Lagerbach.
Meanwhile, the NFF has denied reports in some dailies (not National Mirror) that it had slashed the N5million monthly salary of Super Eagles' coach, Stephen Keshi.
Chairman of the NFF Media and Publicity Committee, Chief Emeka Inyama said the false story was another concoction aimed at distracting the Federation at this very crucial period.
"The NFF has a contract with Coach Stephen Keshi clearly speltout, and we intend to respect that contract. That contract says Keshi is to get N5m as monthly salary.
