Nando Disqualified From The Big Brother Show After Breaking Rules Relating To Violence And Provocation.

Press Release: Nando is Disqualified

After breaking the rules relating to violence and provocation, tonight (Sunday July 28) saw Big Brother The Chase housemate Nando disqualified from the 91 day reality show. This season Big Brother has been issuing strikes to housemates for inappropriate behaviour with three strikes resulting in disqualification from the game. The 22-year-old from Tanzania was issued a first strike in week five of the show for carrying a knife to a Big Brother party. Following an altercation with fellow housemate Elikem late on Friday night, today Big Brother issued two more strikes against him – one for provocation and one for concealing a pair of scissors in his bed after the argument. With three strikes, Big Brother tonight disqualified Nando from the game. For his part in Friday’s altercation, Elikem was also issued a strike by Big Brother, his first in the game. Given that M-Net and show producers Endemol, are committed to ensuring the safety of all housemates in the Big Brother house, they view such incidents in a serious light and will continue to take the necessary actions against housemates who break the strict rules prohibiting violence in the Big Brother house.

Selorm Galley, one of Ghana’s two representatives at this year’s Big Brother Africa reality television show, and who was evicted last weekend, has cleared the air on a number of issues arising out of her stay and subsequent exit from the House.

Selly, as she was referred to in-house, took time to answer questions from a cross section of media persons, at an interactive session held in Accra on Friday.

The media, some of whom weren’t ready to play nice, asked almost all the questions that have come out of her stay in the house including but not limited to her alleged sexual intercourse with another housemate, out of which also came damaging allegations of her transmitting a STD to the housemate.

She, for the umpteenth time, denied having sex. “We made out,” she said.

The aspiring actress also spoke on a variety of issues from his relationship with hiplife act Praye Tiatia to her plans for the foreseeable future. The session was put together by Multichoice Ghana and Airtel.
