Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and his Taraba State counterpart, Architect Darius Isiaku today took a bold step towards lasting peace between the Tiv, Jukun and Fulani people in the two states.

At the end of the peace meetings held in border communities of Moon district, Kwande local area of Benue State and Kashimbila in Taraba State, the two Governors and other stakeholders resolved among others that modalities for the demarcation of the area would commence immediately.
