El-Zakzaky Ran A Parallel Government In The North For 40 Years- Sheikh Gumi

Renowned Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmed Gumi, on Tuesday accused the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, of running a parallel government in the North.
Gumi, while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna, said the Shi’ite members had been undergoing military training over the 40 years of its existence.

Shi’ite leader, El-Zakzaky Charged With Criminal Conspiracy, Remanded In Prison.

The leader of the Shi’ite Islamic group in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-zakzaky, has been arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court 1, Zaria Road, Kaduna and charged with criminal conspiracy and inciting public disturbances.El-zakzaky who was arraigned alongside some followers by the police, was however remanded in prison custody.
