International Women's Day | Highlights From The 2017 WIMBIZ Annual Lecture With Mo Abudu & Audu Maikori. [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]


The 2017 WIMBIZ Annual Lecture themed "Bold Steps in the Face of Uncertainty" which held on Tuesday, March 7 challenged women to push the envelope and chart new territories in line with our objective to empower women to achieve their potential and become meaningful contributors to economic development. The Lecture which was given by Mo Abudu and moderated by Audu Maikori was delivered on the eve of the International Women's Day, in efforts to align with this year's theme, "Be Bold for Change".

WIMBIZ 12th Annual Lecture: “Bold Steps in The Face of Uncertainty”.




This year’s Lecture is designed to challenge women to push the envelope and chart new territories in line with our objective to empower women to achieve their potential and become meaningful contributors to economic development. As the Lecture will be delivered on the eve of the International Women’s Day, the Lecture seeks to align with this year’s theme, “Be Bold for Change”. As a result, the 2017 Lecture’s topic is “Bold Steps in the Face of Uncertainty”.


This year, we are privileged to have Mo Abudu, Chairman and CEO of Ebony Life TV deliver the Lecture. Past speakers include Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Honorable Minister of Solids Minerals and Development, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, President of the Council, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Arunma Oteh, Treasurer and Vice President of the World Bank and Sanusi Lamido, Former Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria.
