Zenith Bank opens two more branches

Zenith Bank Gambia on Monday opened two new branches in Kanifing, Jimpex Road and Brikama in the West Coast Region, bringing its total branch network to six.

The bank’s managing director, Anthony Nwoko, said the opening of the two new branches is an indication that Zenith Bank is committed to stay and contribute to the socio-economic development of The Gambia.

He said Zenith Bank’s objective is to bring banking services to the doorstep of its customers.

Mr Nwoko thanked his bank board of directors and the Central Bank of The Gambia for their support and approval to open the branches. He also thanked the bank’s customers for their continuous support over the years.

He went further to inform the gathering that since coming into the country they have introduced various products and services into the market, leveraging on their exceptional customer service delivery.  He said this has consistently earned them a positive public perception.

The new branches would deliver a wide range of universal banking services to corporate, commercial, and individual customers including treasury and financial services, international banking operations and trade finance, as well as funds management.

The MD said the bank would also utilize its state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology (ICT) platform to provide unique electronic banking services, including ATM, Internet banking, and electronic payment solutions.

According to him, Zenith is the only bank that issues Master Card in The Gambia and deplored ATM`s in all its branches. The cards, he said, can be used both locally and internationally.

The priest of Blessed Sacrament, Rev. Gomez, prayed for the bank and wishes them well in their operation.   He assured the management their support and patronage.

For their part, the Imam of Brikama Mosque and the Catholic Priest who led the prayers expressed their joy in welcoming Zenith Bank to Birkama and wished the bank management and staff well.
