Code of Conduct: Orubebe Arriagned For False Assets Declaration, N70m Bribery.

The Federal Government, through the Code of Conduct Bureau, on Monday arraigned a former Minister of Niger Delta, Mr. Godsday Orubebe, on four counts of false assets declaration and bribery.Orubebe, who was arraigned before the Justice Danladi Umar-led Code of Conduct Tribunal, pleaded not guilty to the four counts preferred against him.

US Government To Impose Visa Ban On Patience Jonathan,Godsday Orubebe,Ibrahim Shettima & Others Over Election Violence.

According to a report from The Nation Newspaper, The United States government said on Monday it will impose visa restrictions on the wife of Nigeria’s president, Patience Jonathan, a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, the governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema, and several others for inciting violence and interfering with the country’s electoral process.
