Toyin Lawani's Baby Shower took place yesterday Sunday 8th 2013. It was a party to specially celebrate the expectant mother. Close friends brought thoughtful presents for both the mother and the baby such as dressing gown for the mother, baby clothes, and bathroom kit for the baby.
The party was enjoyable to everyone with party games and prizes, there was also a lot to eat and drink.

Yesterday, 6^th of September 2013, Celebrity Stylist, Entrepreneur and Business Mogul Toyin Lawani was at CoolFm 96.9 with 8 year old ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent Season 1 Winner Amarachi to speak with Dotun on Toyin’s work with Amarachi as well as other upcoming projects. 

Amarachi talked about her new music video “The Amarachi Dance” shot by Clearence Peters, which will be coming out soon. Celebrity Stylist, Toyin Lawani and her team worked passionately on the video project and fiercely styled Amarachi from the recently debuted Elegante By TiannahStyling kids line known as Elegante Kidz.

There is a good dose of polka dots which has been done right and has been properly styled with other fabrics and accessories such as Silk, Lycra, Leather, Feathers and Chiffon which are all pleasurable to the eyes!

This “Freedom” collection, recently showcased at the 2013 Africa Fashion Week London was an insight as to how to pull of polka dots.

Toyin Lawani’s love for the vintage era has been cleverly emphasized and she goes to show that any fashion forward woman can still look chic and sophisticated wearing the dotted look by keeping it classic.

Style Tips:
Pair them with great classic pieces such as a nice leather handbag, nude jacket or black cigarette jeans. Keep your jewellery simple too, dots bling do not always match.

The polka dots should be proportional to your shape, so if you are have a big bust; the print should be slightly larger to balance a bigger chest. Conversely, if you're petite on top, the polka dots should be smaller to keep things proportional.
