Buhari inherited N1.5tn debt on road contracts-Fashola




The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola had on Sunday disclosed that the present administration under the leadership of President Buhari, inherited N1.5tn from the previous government. Fashola, who was represented by his Special Adviser, Communications, Mr Hakeem Bello said that, a total number of 206 unconstructed roads was inherited.

Fashola Unveils 13-Point Agenda To Revive The Power Sector.




The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, on Monday unfolded a 13-point agenda to drive efforts towards enhancing power supply in the country. Fashola said in Abuja during his maiden meeting with power generation, distribution and transmission companies, and other stakeholders that the agenda was drawn up to ensure effective monitoring of the sector.

“I have no child outside wedlock; I’m not looking for appointment” – Fashola

Former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has denied series of allegations levelled against him.In a statement he issued Thursday night, he reacted to the claims, including allegations that he fathered a set of twins outside marriage, awarded a N78 million contract to upgrade his personal website and that he left billions of naira debt.
Fashola also told his accusers that he was not looking for appointment.
He also cleared the air on his alleged involvement in the national assembly leadership elections.

A study to measure the democratic awareness and political will among Lagos residents has indicated that despite the high level of awareness on democratic processes, the people have lost confidence in governance, but rated the present Lagos State government high. The study rated Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola as best performing governor since 1999.

Fashola Okays LASU Reopening, Approves N51m for the Institution





The Govenor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has approved the immediate reopening of the Lagos State University (LASU) for normal academic activities.
