The Auditor General of the Federation (AuGF), Samuel Ukura, on Tuesday blamed the inability of his office to publish the report of the forensic audit on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) over the missing $20 billion oil fund on presidential interest.

Nigerian Council Of State Meets In Abuja,Former Heads Of State ,Chief Justices And Governors In Attendance.

 
 

 
 The Nigerian Council of State is meeting in Abuja, to discuss issues of National Importance.
Security issues ahead of 2015 elections are part of the top agenda of the meeting chaired by President Goodluck Jonathan at the State House.
The meeting is being attended by the country’s former leaders, chief justices and governors.
Generals Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalam Abubakar as well as Alhaji Shehu Shagari and Chief Ernest Shonekan are attending the meeting.
The Governor of North Eastern State of Adamawa, Murtala Nyako is also at the meeting. The meeting is the second in the year.see more pictures

President Jonathan Tells Protesters To Direct Their Protest To Chibok Girls Abductors. He got it wrong again.



President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday urged those who have been protesting the abduction of more than 200 schoolgirls in Chibok, Borno State to henceforth direct their protests to terrorists and not the government.

Igbo Youths Accuse President Jonathan Of Neglect,Threaten To Abandon Him.



IGBO youths under the aegis of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) have accused President Goodluck Jonathan of not fulfilled promises he made to them which made them to vote massively for him in the 2011 elections.
The Igbo youths alleged that the Federal Government under President Jonathan has neglected them and their area in infrastructural provision. They said that they were not involved the Government's empowerment programmes.

American Actress Goldie Hawn Regrets Calling President JonathanA "Wonderful President".








 Hollywood actress and activist Goldie Hawn met President Jonathan on January 22nd at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, took a pic with him, shared it on twitter and described the president as 'wonderful president of Nigeria'. 
 Goldie Hawn is a staunch supporter of gay rights and when some fans lashed out at her for taking a pic with an anti-gay president and praising him, Goldie said she had no idea & was appalled. She immediately deleted the pic with the president and apologized to her twitter followers.
