Man coming back from his wedding introduction dies in fatal motor accident in Edo state (graphic photos)

A yet to be identified man lost his life in a ghastly motor accident while on his way back from his wedding introduction. The sad event occurred yesterday at Igbogiri, Edo state.

Sharing the graphic photos on Facebook, Sunny Agali wrote;


I'm appealing to the Federal government of Nigeria to as a matter of urgency come to the aid of commuters. The various degrees of damaged portions of the Lagos Benin/Asaba highway has caused several accidents & lost of lives, this one just happened yesterday afternoon at Igbogiri, Edo state. The victims were said to be heading to benin, as they were returning from a marriage introduction, what a life?

Lamee Tomtsu, a Medical Scientist at the Ministry of Health, Gombe State and her brother's two children were killed in a fatal accident along Jos-Bauchi road on Sunday, August 6th.
Some of her friends including Abdullahi Abdullahi shared this poignant post she wrote on April 7, over three months before her tragic death. The post below:



ONE DAY, I WILL BE NO MORE!!!

People who love me, will cry. People who never wished me well, will yet, feel bad. My pictures will be use on Facebook, BBM, Whatsapp, etc... As "RIP LAMEE TOMTSU " There will be thousands of comments on them from people who knew me and people who really wished they came in contact with me.

There will be no more status update on my wall, no more broadcast, My profile picture will not be changing again. You will call my phone and I will never pick up. Drop thousands of message that will be unread, because i no longer exist.

If you loved me, how would you feel that day? If you hated me, how would you feel? If I had begged for help from you and you turned me down, how would you feel?

If we had unsettled dispute with you what would you be crying for? Looking at the happenings in this world today i beg for us to live right, love, care and support one another. Let try to make peace always, because, you never know when your or my last 'goodbye' will be.....

If i have ever wrong you intentionally or without me even knowing it, if I have ever made you feel bad or hurt due to what I say or do please please # Iam on my kneels now I beg of you forgive me..To all those who hurt me I forgive you. ( Go and sin no more... Lol )

Tragedy as truck falls, buries Imo Poly students

Tragedy struck in Umuagwo, Imo State when a container fell off from a heavy duty vehicle and buried students of the Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo. 
FM gath­ered that the container fell off from the truck in front of the main gate of Polytechnic while in motion along the ever-busy Owerri - Port Harcourt Express­way.

About three people were still trapped underneath the container.

A student who gave his name as John said, “The vehicle was con­veying a container from Port Harcourt to Owerri unfortunately, it slipped off and fell on innocent people who were going for their lectures. I believe the victims are students of Imo State Polytech­nic who were going to school.
“The thing happened so fast under a split sec­ond and nobody antici­pated it. Unfortunately, rescue operation is yet to commence”, John said.

Imo State Commis­sioner of Police, Chris Ezike, confirmed the incident but said the number of trapped people was yet to be as­certained as at the time of writing this report.

He disclosed that the Command was still trying to secure heavy duty equipments to commence emergency rescue operations.

“Yes, I am aware. There are casualties but we cannot say the ex­act number. We don’t want to speculate. We are looking for heavy duty equipments for the rescue mission to commence”, Ezike said.

Passengers Roast To Death In Accident Along Garaku/Mandara In NassarawaState.

According to Ukan Kurugh who posted these images on Facebook,It was a sad end for two motorist today @ Garaku before Mandara on you way from Abuja where two toyota cars were involved in a head on collision.
The first vehicle was said to be carrying a woman and her children while a driver was driving the second vehicle and all occupants of the two cars were reported dead/burnt beyond recognition.See more pictures after cutread more
