Miss Ugochi Ihezue Has Been Crowned The 30th Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria

From traditional wears to bikinis and to their gorgeous evening wears, in a keenly contested battle between 37 Queens who strutted the runway like the Queen that they crave to be, Miss Kebbi state, Ugochi Ihezue has been crowned the 30th Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2017.
The beauty pageant we've always looked out for every year, had 37 beautiful ladies mostly from the Eastern part of the country representing all the states of the nation before Miss Delta pulled out for 'personal' reasons.
Other winners winners include;
Fourth runner-up – Miss Bayelsa
Third runner-up/Miss ECOWAS – Miss Oyo
Second runner-up/Miss Tourism – Miss Plateau
First runner-up/MBGN Universe – Miss Sokoto
Miss Yobe was crowned Miss Amity
Best Costume – Miss Sokoto
Model of the year – Miss Kebbi
Best Evening wear – Miss Bayelsa
Miss Ugochi will be representing Nigeria at the Miss World Pageant holding in November in China.

"Finest Girl in Nigeria International" Queen Adoo Gum gets royal blessings as she visits HRH Tor Tiv V Prof James Ayatse. (PHOTOS)

Beauty Queen, Gum Adoo, winner of Finest Girl Nigeria International 2017, on Saturday,19 August 2017 paid a courtesy visit to the paramount leader of the TIV nation, Prof.James Iorzua Ayatse, Tor TIV V in Gboko, Benue state.

The beauty who was accompanied by Mr Goodman Foga, Mr Tourism, Benue Top Model Ambassadors, Miss Benue Arts and Culture, amongst others, were warmly received by the Tor TIV and his wife.

Queen Gum Adoo and her host spoke heartily on issues bothering the TIV nation and Benue state in general.

She commended the Tor TIV' for his outstanding achievements so far in impacting positively on the lives of the people in the short time that he assumed the throne. She also seized  the opportunity to congratulate the king on his coronation.

While pleading with the paramount ruler to help stop cases of early child marriage in Benue state, she however commended the efforts of the Tor TIV in trying to bring a lasting solution to the issue of high bride price in TIV land. She said such move will help young girls in the State such as her to get married on time without prospective suitors being of afraid of paying so much for bride price.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the beauty Queen who intimated the king of her pet projects she has embarked on within the State which is mostly focused on education. She also intimated the Tor Tiv of her plans to visit camps of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, very soon.

On his part, the Tor TIV commended  the Beauty Queen for visit. He acknowledged that the Finest Girl Nigeria 2017 is the most prominent and biggest Beauty Queen to emerge under his reign and he is very happy that a Benue state daughter was found worthy of the Crown.

The king used the opportunity to admonish youths to shun all vices and stereotyping that may set the TIV nation behind. 'For the Tiv nation to move forward,' the king said, 'the youths must be actively involved in reviving the culture and tradition of the Tiv Nation.'

The king promised to continue to promote the good cause of the TIV nation , The further promised that this year's TIV day celebration will be a befitting one.

Highlights of the day were  praying for the Queen Gum Adoo and her entourage with a promise to give her all of his support that he could as the paramount leader of TIV nation to help her succeed in her career.

She proceeded to also visit the wife of the Tor Tiv ,Kwase Chivirigh were they discussed and prayed together.

Beauty Pageant in Abuja has become the biggest sector of Abuja Entertainment Industry, While most Beauty Pageants and Queens gain influence and credibility with Projects and Endorsements some others are nowhere to be found in the Picture.


Beauty Queens think that their skeletal Instagram Followers is their judgement for Fame while they neglect Social Media Publicity, Brand Visibility, Project Awareness and Campaign promotion.
In this 24 Century, TV and Radio is gradually losing some of their viewers to Social Media addicts and Blog loyalists as well as celebrity committed fan followers.


Today, Barcity Media in partnership with One of Abuja Biggest Media Firm, Abuja Press came up with a list of Top 10 Beauty Pageants with unpopular Beauty Queens, some of the reasons why we termed them unpopular is because we don't see them more on the media due to the fact that they got no reputable project that get featured on Media Platforms.

1 Face of Democracy: This Beauty pageant is One of Abuja's biggest pageant and over the years they have proven to be one of the most vibrant beauty pageant on the Media but their queens end up being unpopular for some reasons.

Queen Esther Zamani was at Headies Awards and Lagos Fashion Awards, she has also been interviewed on HIPTV but we have not seen any of their other queens name anywhere.
We feel their queens remain unpopular due to lack of creative projects and good media engagement.


2 Miss Comely Nigeria: Here comes the Breast Cancer Fighting Queens, The Beauty Pageant has actually tried in gaining acceptance in Abuja Pageant Industry while their queens still remain unpopular, we actually haven't heard of any projects from the Miss Comely Queens.


3 Miss Independence Beauty Pageant: Miss Independence Beauty Pageant is one of Abuja's emerging Beauty Pageant, they have produced so many beauty queens who still remain unknown and unpopular due to lack of good project and media features, they once produced a beauty queen called Queen Nneze Richard who had the buzz but since then we haven't seen anyone else from this beauty pageant.


4 Miss Falconet: Miss Falconet Beauty Pageant Case is worst because the Pageant is also still struggling to gain acceptance while their Queens Popularity remains tremendously poor.


5 Miss NGO: Miss NGO Beauty Pageant have staged amazing editions of their shows but they still end up crowning Snakes who shouldn't be called Queens at the first place.‎
The Former Queen, Miss Carmelita made headlines even though only her efforts wasn't fully recognised by the Media.
The current Face of Nigeria World Tourism, Queen Ijeoma okafor was the immediate past head queen of Miss NGO, little was heard about her when she was Miss NGO.


Their Queens remains one of Abuja most unpopular Beauty Queens in Abuja Pageant Industry.


6- Finest Girl Nigeria: Here comes one of the oldest and biggest beauty pageant in Abuja but the fact still remains that the Queens still remain irrelevant even though the Pageant Organizer claims his online TV has 5million reach but that don't still promote the Queens, we have also seen their events been over hyped with words like "5 Governor's, 3 Ministers, 10 Senators" but we end up not seeing even an SA to a Local Government Chairman when we attend, we also know of one of their queens called Queen Aisha who is only seen in Parties and Nightclubs.


7- Face of Culture: The Previous Edition this Distinguished Pageant crowned Queens that helped in pushing the brand but the latest Queens are nothing to be written home about, the event also ended up in a ridiculous way after crowning of Queens that were disqualified from other pageants, we haven't seen or heard of Anything from their Queens either.‎


8- Face of Fashion Africa: Face of Fashion Africa was very controversial that even during the event, almost all the seats were empty, the girls were looking horrible and we haven't seen them before anywhere near a project or media since when they left Face of Fashion Africa Stage.


9- Queen of Unity: This Pageant shouldn't have been featured if they had more queens like Queen Simi Silas, Their other Queens have never been seen on the Media and even on during events which is the cheapest form of Publicity..


10: Miss UN Habitat: Last year, this pageant had one of the biggest controversy, from UN Alleged attack to Jaywon controversy and finally to their Queen controversy of travelling home with the official car which haven't been fully paid for.
Since the Crowning of the Queens, they have been sent to exile because we haven't seen them anywhere near the media or a project.
The organizer also made an appearance at Mrs Accolade event which was one of his first appearance months after his event.

Beauty Queen Celebrates Christmas With Widows In Rivers State..[Pictures]

On Christmas day Friday, December 25, Face of Aso Label 2015, Queen Miebaka Wokoma celebrated Christmas with the widows in her hometown, Rivers state.
The 22-year old graduate of University of Port Harcourt took out time to visit widows at St. Matthew Anglican church to share food items such as bags of rice, groundnut oil, cartons of indomie noodles amongst other food items to several widows at the church.
The beauty queen is said to be preparing to flag one of her projects which deals with protecting the “Girl Child Education” in the country. However, visiting the widows is also part of her course to help support the women in the state and beyond.

Steve Harvey Shares Photo Of Himself As He Apologized To Miss Phillipines After Declaring Her Runner Up At Miss Universe.

                          

Steve Harvey shared a photo of himself backstage at Sunday's Miss Universe pageant as he apologized to the evening's winner Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach after initially declaring her the runner-up in the competition.

'I had the chance to apologize to Miss Philippines and I'm thankful,' wrote Harvey next to the photo, which showed him holding Miss Philippines' hands and speaking with her as she wore her new crown.

He also wrote that he had apologized to Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez, who he announced as the winner on live television before admitting his mistake and having to watch as her crown was removed and given to Miss Philippines.

It was a tense moment for Harvey, who had been spotted gambling and having some drinks at a Las Vegas casino just hours before the pageant finals on Sunday.

TMZ obtained photos they claim are of Harvey at a 'high-end roulette table' at Caesars, claiming he was there both Friday and Sunday.
